Presser foot for sewing machine
A presser foot for a sewing machine, is attached to a lower end of a presser bar to press a fabric during sewing, the presser bar being supported by the sewing machine so as to be slidable in an up-down direction. An attachment shaft member is provided in the presser bar so as to be slidable, the attachment shaft member attaching the presser foot so as to be detachable from the presser bar, and an attachment portion is provided in the presser foot so as to be fixed to the lower end of the presser bar by the attachment shaft member. The attachment shaft member includes a holding shaft portion that holds the attachment portion in the presser bar, and two positioning shaft portions having different shaft diameters smaller than that of the holding shaft portion.

Sewing machine ankle assemblies having a resilient member for attaching a presser foot
Sewing machine ankle assemblies having a resilient member for attaching a presser foot are disclosed. According to an aspect, a sewing machine ankle assembly includes an ankle comprising an upper portion and a lower portion. The lower portion defines at least one structure configured to receive an attachment mechanism of the presser foot. The sewing machine ankle assembly also includes a resilient member comprising an upper end and an opposing lower end. The upper end is attached to the upper portion of the ankle. The lower end is positioned beneath a portion of the attachment mechanism of the presser foot when the attachment mechanism is received by the at least one structure of the ankle such that the lower portion of the resilient member exerts a force on the portion of the attachment mechanism in a direction towards the at least one structure of the ankle.

MOVEMENT DETECTOR AND SEWING SYSTEM
A movement detector is attachable to a presser bar of a sewing machine. The movement detector includes a sensor and a housing. The sensor is configured to emit light toward a sewing workpiece and to detect the light reflected from the sewing workpiece to detect a movement amount of the sewing workpiece. The housing accommodates the sensor. The housing includes a wall surface spaced from the sensor in a detachment direction. The detachment direction is perpendicular to an emission direction in which the sensor emits the light. The wall surface is formed with an insertion opening for inserting a presser foot.
