DEVICES AND RELATED METHODS FOR MAINTAINING WOVEN MATERIAL IN FIXED ORIENTATION
Devices and related methods for, among other things, maintaining the warp/weft threads of a backing layer of material (e.g., fabric) in a fixed orientation while being sewed are described and provided.
CLOSE STITCH HOPPING FOOT
A hopping foot assembly for a sewing machine having a needle comprises a hopping foot base and a hopping foot arm. The hopping foot base is shaped to include a needle opening that extends axially therethrough relative to an axis. The hopping foot arm extends from the hopping foot base. The hopping foot arm is configured to be coupled to the sewing machine to fix the hopping foot base relative to the sewing machine.

Garment sleeve attachment systems and methods
Various examples are provided related to attachment of bands about a garment opening. In one example, among others, a sleeve band can be attached to a garment by loading the sleeve band on a band guide, aligning an opening of a garment over the sleeve band, and attaching the band to the garment along the edge of the opening. Alignment of the edges of the opening and the sleeve band can be maintained by ply aligners during attachment. In another example, a garment holding system includes a garment holder that can receive a garment and a band positioning system includes a band guide that can receive a band. Edges of the opening of the garment and the band can be controlled and maintained with ply aligners of the band positioning system.

Linking machine provided with an improved guide for aligning two fabric edges to be joined
A linking machine (104) comprising a fixed unit comprising a support frame (108), a mobile unit (200) comprising a device for advancing or transporting (116) the fabric along a longitudinal direction (Y-Y), a device for positioning (120) a needle (110) along a transverse direction (X-X), perpendicular to said longitudinal direction (Y-Y) and coplanar with the fabric, an actuator device (124) of said needle (110) in a vertical direction (Z-Z), perpendicular to said longitudinal (Y-Y) and transverse (X-X) directions, for performing the linking. Advantageously, the linking machine (104) comprises a feed guide (20) for two fabrics to be joined, such as a neck (1,10), provided with a separating cotton (3) and a knitted fabric (6), positioned upstream of said needle (110) in the longitudinal direction (Y-Y). The feed guide (20) comprising a first stop (21) suitable to constitute an abutment and a positioning for said separating cotton (3) of the neck (1,10), said first stop (21) being adjustable in position along said transversal direction (X-X) so as to be able to adjust a distance (a) of the seam line (13) from the inner edge of the neck (5).

SEWING SYSTEM
A sewing system which includes a detector for detecting an edge of a cloth installed on an installation table, a cloth conveyor for conveying the cloth from the installation table to a sewing machine, and a controller, wherein the cloth conveyor includes a holding member that holds the cloth, and the controller includes a holding position decision portion that determines a holding position of the cloth based on detection data of the detector, and a conveyance control portion that controls the cloth conveyor such that the holding member holds the holding position. In the sewing system according to the above, it is possible to prevent deterioration in productivity of sewn products.
