According to the needle bar mechanism, the slider comes, at the time of lifting of the stud, into collision with the clutch lever and the deactivating member, so that one needle bar clutch can be switched from a holding state to a release state by the stud while the other needle bar clutch is switched from the release state to the holding state by the stud.
