Sewing machine
A sewing machine includes a threading mechanism, a holding member, and a movement mechanism. The threading mechanism is configured to move a hook between a standby position and an operative position. The holding member includes a cutting blade and a clamping portion. The cutting blade is configured to cut an upper thread. The clamping portion is configured to clamp and hold a thread end of the cut upper thread. The movement mechanism is configured to move the holding member to a first position and a second position. The first direction is a direction from the standby position to the operative position. The second position is a position on a second direction side with respect to the first position. The second direction is a direction opposite to the first direction.

Needle threader and needle threading mechanism
A needle threader includes: a needle holding part for holding a needle having a needle eye; a threading member movable between a retracted position separated from the needle holding part and an advanced position for inserting a thread loop through the needle eye by entering the needle eye; an actuator mechanism including an operation element, to move the threading member to the retracted position in a first state (not operating) and move to the advanced position in a second state (operating); and a thread pressing mechanism for pressing the thread loop inserted through the needle eye by the threading member. The thread pressing mechanism includes a pressure receiving part, a pressing member, and a biasing member. Switching the operation element from the second state to the first state, the pressing member can press the thread loop against the pressure receiving part.

Multi-Needle Threader
A multi-needle threader for use in weaving hair extensions. The threader has an L shaped body for holding at least one spool of thread in proximity to a plurality of needles held in pin cushions. The needles and pin cushions are positioned on the threader such that the needles can be threaded in a sequence or order continuously one needle to another until all are pre-threaded for use and then the needles can be used in reverse order without unthreading any unused needles.

Threading device of sewing machine
A threading device of a sewing machine includes: a needle bar which is supported on a sewing machine body so as to be slidable in an up-down direction and to a distal end of which a needle having a needle hole is attached; a threading shaft member which is movably supported on the sewing machine body in parallel to the needle bar; a guiding member provided at a lower end of the threading shaft member so as to guide a thread to the needle hole; and an air supplying member that supplies air to the guiding member. The guiding member includes: a guiding path portion of which the path width gradually narrows toward the needle hole such that the air supplied from the air supplying member is guided toward the needle hole.

OVERLOCK SEWING MACHINE
With a overlock sewing machine, when a switching mechanism is switched to a threading-enabled state, and a looper cover is closed, the looper cover is slid toward one side in the hinge shaft axial direction so as to operate a detection lever. In the non-operating state, the detection lever is set to an initial position where it does not press an operation protrusion of a switch. When a side cover is closed, and the detection lever is operated, the operation lever is set to an operation-enabled position where it presses the operation protrusion. When the operation lever is operated, and the side cover is opened, the detection lever is set by passing through the operation-enabled to the operation-disabled position where it does not press the operation protrusion.
