TURNED EDGE FABRIC CIRCLE APPLIQUES
Turned edge fabric appliqus are produced using a first template whose perimeter corresponds to a desired shape of a finished appliqu of certain size, and a second template having a corresponding opening so that the perimeter of the first template fits in the opening with a determined gap between the templates. The perimeter of the second template corresponds to an appliqu of the desired shape but a size larger than said certain size, and the second template fits in a corresponding opening in a third template to obtain the appliqu of larger size. A fabric piece is placed by the first template into the opening in the second template, and an exposed edge of the piece projects through the gap above the first template to define a seam allowance which is ironed atop the first template. The template is then withdrawn from the opening and from the ironed seam allowance.
Quilt stamps
A quilt stamps and quilt stamp sets can be used to simplify and expedite the process of cutting and sewing fabric pieces for a patchwork quilt. A quilt stamp can be formed of a transparent material in a desired shape. A stamping side of the quilt stamp includes parallel ridges that are offset from and extend along the outer edges of the shape. The outer ridge can be formed as a continuous ridge while the inner ridge can include repeating gaps thereby forming a dashed pattern. Both the outer and inner ridges can function to stamp lines onto fabric which define where to cut as well as where to sew the fabric.

QUILTING RULER, QUILTING RULER SYSTEM, AND METHOD OF USE
Embodiments of the present invention include a quilting ruler to facilitate home embroidery machine user's quilting-in-the hoop capabilities. This includes a thin, generally polygonal ruler with apertures for center marking, cross-hair marking, and size marking, as well as perimeters for edge markings to delineate fabric areas for quilting-in-the-hoop. The invention also includes a quilting ruler system with a plurality of such rulers of various dimensions and classes. Finally the invention includes a method of using the quilting rulers to map and extend quilting designs across a fabric area by selecting a quilting ruler, placing it on a fabric at a first fabric location, marking the fabric at the first fabric location through apertures, marking the fabric around the perimeter of the ruler, marking the dimension of the perimeter on the fabric, quilting at the first fabric location, and repeating these steps.

TRAVELER SYNCHRONIZED PURCHASE AND DELIVERY
Aspects of the present invention provide devices that receive an item for purchase and an itinerary of a user that includes multiple destinations, each destination defined by a geographic identifier and a corresponding time. Embodiments identify multiple vendor purchase and delivery options for the item, each of the delivery options including at least one of the destinations, wherein the vendor purchase and delivery options have attributes that include a vendor identifier, an item price, a shipping price for the item to one of the plurality of destinations at the corresponding time, and an identifier of a destination at a corresponding time, and wherein the embodiments select one of the vendor purchase and delivery options for the item as a function of determining that the attributes of the selected one meet user preferences.
QUILTING TOOL
The present invention is directed to a quilting tool and method for preparing unique quilt blocks. Advantageously, the inventive quilting tool includes a template with a fabric-marking window. In a preferred embodiment, the quilting tool includes the template, and an insert with a fabric-marking window. Beneficially, layout of fabric windows in multiple fabric pieces is uniform, and there is provided a wide variety of fabric window shapes and sizes useful for applique and reverse applique patterns. In a preferred embodiment, the quilting tool allows a quilt maker to make a unique wheel-and-spokes pattern.
