An embroidery sewing machine calculates the number of designs to be used for sewing for a length that is closest to a desired sewing length, based on the desired sewing length and information regarding the designs. The embroidery sewing machine calculates the sewing length based on the calculated number of designs and the information regarding the designs. Furthermore, the embroidery sewing machine adjusts the length of each design such that the calculated sewing length matches the desired sewing length, and converts the adjusted data of the designs into embroidery data. This enables sewing such that the sewing start and end points match each other or junction matching is secured, even in a case of sewing in the form of various kinds of combinations of curves and lines or the like. In addition, this provides an embroidery sewing machine that is capable of executing sewing with an improved appearance.

Sewing machine and non-transitory computer readable storage medium

A memory of a sewing machine stores a plurality of notification conditions for notifying an information processing device of an extent of progress of sewing of the embroidery pattern. The notification conditions include a first notification condition for notifying that the extent of progress is a first extent and a second notification condition for notifying that the extent of progress is a second extent. The sewing machine transmits, to the information processing device, first extent information indicating the first extent, when the sewing machine determines that the first notification condition is satisfied. The sewing machine transmits, to the information processing device, the second extent information indicating the second extent, when the sewing machine determines that the second notification condition is satisfied.

NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM STORING SEWING DATA GENERATION PROGRAM, SEWING DATA GENERATION DEVICE AND SEWING METHOD
20180298535 · 2018-10-18 ·

A non-transitory computer-readable medium stores computer-readable instructions for sewing data generation. The computer-readable instructions are executed by a processor provided in a sewing data generation device. When executed by the processor in the sewing data generation device, the computer-readable instructions instruct the processor to perform following processes. First, the processor acquires a pattern. And, the processor divides the acquired pattern into a first pattern and a second pattern. The second pattern includes an overlapping portion. The overlapping portion in the second pattern partially overlaps with the first pattern. The processor generates sewing data to sew each of the first pattern and the second pattern on a sewing object. And, the processor generates processing data to process, in full size, a processing pattern. The processing pattern is obtained by excluding the overlapping portion from the second pattern, on a sheet-like processing object different from the sewing object.

Balancing yarn use in designing tufted patterns for textiles

Tools are provided that communicate to a pattern designer how much yarn is being used on every needle for a given tuft height pattern and permit the designer to adjust the pattern accordingly to balance the yarn usage on the needles. An electronic representation of a pattern design is received for controlling a carpet tufting operation. The pattern design includes a pile height per tuft. A grid is provided for representing the pattern design using different visual cues to represent different pile heights. A graph depicting use-of-yarn per needle for the carpet tufting operation is generated. The grid and the graph can be on a common user interface and can be viewable at the same time on a display device.

Integrated System and Method for Treating a Thread and Using Thereof

An integrated system for treating a thread and using the treated thread, comprising: a thread treatment machine for treating a thread or portions thereof; a thread applicator configured for using the treated thread such as a stitching machine of 3D printer; at least one mechanism for collecting and trimming thread portions; and a control unit, configured for controlling at least the thread treatment machine, the thread applicator and the collecting and trimming mechanism and for coordinating the treatment of the thread with the operation of the thread applicator, wherein the control unit is further configured for controlling the collecting and trimming mechanism for collecting untreated thread edge portions for allowing using only treated thread portions.

A METHOD OF FORMING A PATTERNED CARPET IN A TUFTING MACHINE
20240344256 · 2024-10-17 ·

A method of forming a patterned carpet in a tufting machine with a sliding needle bar (4) comprising a plurality of needles (5). The method comprising analysing desired pattern data to determine if a problem condition is present for a particular arrangement of tufts in the desired pattern data based on the relative location of at least two stitches in the desired pattern data. Changing the colour of at least one tuft from that required by the desired pattern data to create actual pattern data in which the problem condition is eliminated (or alerting to a user). The problem condition may be the tufts will be spaced by less than a predetermined amount. Alternatively, it may be that a needle (5) forming a tuft in a transitional line is not required to form a tuft for a more than a predetermined number of reciprocations of the needle bar after to the transitional line.
