ARTIFICIAL TURF AND METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SAME
Disclosed is an artificial turf. In the present disclosure, nylon is used as the main material. Through selecting straight fibers and curve fibers with certain cross-sectional shapes, lengths and widths and using the straight fiber and curve fiber together, the obtained grass fibers not only have relatively good temperature resistance, but also good handfeed, wear resistance, anti-aging performance, grass fiber resilience, trampling resistance and grass uprightness.

Production of an artificial turf fiber with a non-circular cladding
A method for producing an artificial turf fiber, comprising: preparing a core polymer mixture from a core polymer and a thread polymer forming beads within the core polymer; coextruding the core polymer mixture with a cladding polymer component into a monofilament, the core polymer mixture forming a cylindrical core, The cladding polymer component forming a cladding encompassing the core with a non-circular profile; quenching the monofilament; reheating the quenched monofilament; stretching the reheated monofilament to deform the beads into threadlike regions; and providing one or more of the stretched monofilaments as the artificial turf fiber.
Floor Mat Having Reduced Tuft Profile
This invention relates to a floor mat having reduced tuft profile on the backside of the textile component of the floor mat. The floor mat is comprised of a textile component and a base component. The textile component includes face yarn tufted through a primary backing layer. The reduced tuft profile is present on the backside of the textile component. Advantages of a floor mat with reduced tuft profile include improved uniformity of the secondary backing layer applied to the textile component and improved durability of the textile component.

Insulated Composite Fabric
A method of forming an insulated composite fabric including attaching an insulating-filler fabric layer to an outer fabric layer, where the insulating-filler fabric layer is a textile fabric with at least one raised surface on the fabric. One side of the insulating-filler layer has a first surface with relatively high pile, including regions of no pile or relatively low pile interspersed among regions of relatively high pile and the other side of the insulating-filler layer has a second surface with relatively high pile, including regions of no pile or relatively low pile interspersed among regions of relatively high pile. The method further contains coupling at least one of a fleece and velour that is respectively lower than the relatively high pile of the first surface or the relatively high pile of the second surface to at least one of the first surface and the second surface.

System and Method for Tufting Sculptured and Multiple Pile Height Patterned Articles
A system and method for tufting sculptured and multiple pile height patterned articles, including controlling placement of yarns fed to the needles of the tufting machine by a yarn feed mechanism to form varying patterns includes a backing support over which the backing is fed, and which lifts/and biases the backing to a raised position. As the backing material is fed through the tufting machine, a series of loopers or hooks engage and pick loops of yarns from the needles. The yarn feed mechanism will be controlled to create a tension in selected loops of yarns, to cause the backing material to be pulled against the bias or spring force applied by the backing support toward the needle plate of the tufting machine to create tufts of different pile heights.
Insulated Composite Fabric
An insulated composite fabric has an inner fabric layer, an outer fabric layer, and an insulating-filler layer enclosed there between. The insulating-filler layer is a textile fabric with at least one raised surface. One side of the insulating-filler layer comprises a first surface with relatively high pile, including regions of no pile or relatively low pile interspersed among regions of relatively high pile. The other side of the insulating-filler layer comprises a second surface with relatively high pile, including regions of no pile or relatively low pile interspersed among regions of relatively high pile. Interconnecting piles are formed with regions of the relatively high pile of the first pile surface and regions of the relatively high pile of the second pile surface.
