Sewing Machine
A sewing machine includes an embroidery data memory unit, a suspension timing selecting unit, and a suspension control unit. The embroidery data memory unit stores embroidery data, and accepts a planned suspension timing, a sewing suspending instruction, and a sewing resuming instruction. The suspension timing selecting unit selects a discontinuous operation that breaks the continuity of seams within the predetermined range before and after the planned suspension timing from the embroidery data. The suspension control unit maintains the deactivation of a sewing-machine motor until the suspending instruction or the resuming instruction is input when the selected discontinuous operation by the suspension timing selecting unit comes during the sewing of embroidery pattern.
DELIVER DEVICE FOR DELIVERING YARNS, METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE TENSION OF YARNS AND USE OF CONTROL MEANS FOR CONTROLLING ACTUATORS FOR DELIVERING YARNS
A deliver device (1) with actuators (3) for delivering yarns (2) in a textile machine, control means (4) for controlling the actuators (3) which comprise measuring means with measurement signals as a measure of the drive torque of the actuators (3) and monitoring means (5) for monitoring the tension of the yarns (2) using said measurement signals, a method for monitoring the tension of yarns (2) which are delivered in a textile machine by means of actuators (3), comprising producing measurement signals as a measure of the drive torque of the actuators (3) as a measure of the tension, the use of control means (4) for controlling actuators (3) for delivering yarns (2) in a textile machine in order to monitor the tension of the yarns (2).
Quilting device
A quilting device (1) comprises a processing unit (5) which is mounted on a frame (3) so as to be manually displaceable in two movement directions (M1, M2) by an operator. A detection device (29) having sensors (27) detects the guiding force which is exerted in these movement directions (M1, M2) by the operator. A controller device (35) controls or regulates, respectively, auxiliary motors (33a, 33b) which support the guiding force, so as to depend on the detected guiding force.
SEWING SYSTEM, STORAGE MEDIUM STORING MONITORING PROGRAM, AND SEWING MACHINE
A sewing system includes a sewing machine and a terminal apparatus. The sewing machine includes a needle bar, a communication interface, and a controller. The communication interface is configured to communicate with the terminal apparatus. The controller is configured to perform: receiving sewing data transmitted from the terminal apparatus via the communication interface, the sewing data including needle position data indicating needle positions for sewing an embroidery pattern; performing a sewing control operation of driving the needle bar to sew the embroidery pattern based on the sewing data; and in response to determining that the sewing machine has stopped during execution of the sewing control operation and has restarted and in response to receiving restoration data corresponding to the sewing data from the terminal apparatus via the communication interface, driving the needle bar to resume the sewing control operation based on the restoration data.

Synchronous Grass Tufting Machine
A synchronous grass tufting machine is useful to coordinate the simultaneous driving of spaced apart needle bars vertically relative to a backing fabric being fed through a tufting machine. The needle bars preferably have push rods mechanically linked, if not joined, for simultaneous movement. Controllers may permit selective needle selection, looper operation, backing or needle bar shifting, yarn feeding, backing feeding, and/or other functions.
