Equipment and processes for the application of atomized fluid to a web substrate

An apparatus for the application of atomized fluid to a web material having a first surface and a second surface opposed thereto is disclosed. The apparatus is provided with a fluid source disposed adjacent to the first surface of the web material and a receipt plenum disposed adjacent to the second surface of the web material. The receipt plenum provides a source of negative pressure to the second surface of the web material. A fluid disposed from the fluid source contacts the first surface of the web material and is caused to traverse therethrough by the source of negative pressure. A portion of the fluid contacting the first surface of the web material is contained by the receipt plenum.

Washer

A washing machine of the present invention comprises a casing; a tub disposed inside the casing; a drum rotatably provided inside the tub, for accommodating laundry therein; and a gasket interposed between the casing and the tub, for preventing water in the tub from leaking between the tub and the casing. Wherein the gasket comprises a plurality of gasket nozzles for spraying water into the drum; and a plurality of connectors for supplying water to the respective gasket nozzles. Wherein the gasket nozzle comprises a spray guidance surface for refracting the an advancing direction of the water supplied through the connector so as to spray the water toward inside of the drum; and a plurality of protrusions provided adjacent to an finish end of the spray guidance surface on which the water guided along the spray guidance surface is separated, and arranged along an width direction of the spray guidance surface.

A washcloth steamer is designed as a counter top device for a consumer to effectively and efficiently heat a single, wetted washcloth to a temperature of between 150 and 212 degrees Fahrenheit. The washcloth steamer is formed with a bowl-type housing containing a heating plate therein. The wetted washcloth is provided around or about upper and lower surfaces of the heating plate. When the clamshell type housing is closed about the heating plate and wetted washcloth, the heating plate is activated to heat the wetted washcloth for a predetermined or until the washcloth or the heating plate reach a maximum temperature. Because the heating plate is configured to quickly heat the washcloth and water, a moisture sensor is included that is relied upon to deactivate the heating plate if the detected moisture is too low, to avoid singeing or igniting the washcloth.
