11952694 · 2024-04-09 · ·

A dyeing machine comprising at least one dyeing module in which a first squeezing device for a textile support, a first treatment tank, a central tank, a second treatment tank and a second squeezing device are located in sequence is described. The dyeing machine also includes a hydraulic system for feeding, circulating and alternately adjusting the levels of process fluids in the tanks. The tanks are preferably enclosed in a hermetically sealed upper covering shell. The two treatment tanks have the same shape, the same dimension and capacity characteristics, and are symmetrical with respect to a plane of symmetry lying in the central tank and arranged perpendicularly with respect to the direction of advance of the textile support. The dyeing machine is provided with means for moving the textile support, configured to advance the textile support alternately in both directions, i.e. either from the first squeezing device to the second squeezing device, sequentially through the tanks, or from the second squeezing device to the first squeezing device, again sequentially through the tanks.

DEVICE FOR WETTING A PLURALITY OF THREADS, AND METERING PUMP FOR SUCH A DEVICE

Particular techniques involve a device for wetting multiple threads with a fluid, and a dosing pump which is connected to the wetting means by multiple conveying lines. The dosing pump has multiple conveying means for generating multiple dosing flows of the fluid and has multiple pump outlets, to which the delivery lines are connected. The conveying means are formed by at least one planetary gear set arranged between housing plates. To achieve, as far as possible, a uniform throughflow without a significant dead space volume, multiple planet gears of the planetary gear set are guided freely by a centering plate between adjacent housing plates. The planet gears of the planetary gear set have in each case one passage opening, which are connected by a channel system to a central pump inlet. It is thus possible to realize close fits and flushing of gaps.

SYSTEM, MACHINE AND METHOD FOR TREATING THREADS OR PARTS THEREOF

A system, a method and a machine for treating threads or parts thereof, the machine having one or more cartridges in each configured for containing thread treatment-material therein; one or more injectors, each injector being configured for applying treatment-material from its respective cartridge over a passing portion of the thread; drive means for operating the one or more injectors; and a communication and control unit for receiving treatment plan data indicative of at least one machine readable treatment related parameter associated with at least one treatment effect for each thread portion to be treated for controlling the treatment effect of each passing thread portion, according to the received treatment plan data. A designated application of the system may be used having a unique user interface allowing creating treatment plans.

CONTINUOUS HEAT SET MACHINE AND SEALING HEAD FOR A CONTINUOUS HEAT SET MACHINE

A continuous process heat set tunnel for exerting a sealing force against a top sealing roll, a yarn-transporting conveyor and a bottom sealing roll. At least first and second top pneumatic lamella sealing cylinders are mounted on the sealing roll frame for exerting against the top lamella a sealing force against the roll surface of the top sealing roll, and at least first and second bottom pneumatic lamella sealing cylinders are mounted on the sealing roll frame for exerting against the bottom lamella a sealing force against the roll surface of the bottom sealing roll.

Method for producing antimicrobial yarns and fabrics by nanoparticle impregnation

The invention relates to a method for producing an antimicrobial fabric or yarn, said method comprising the steps of immersing a fabric or yarn in an aqueous solution of a metal salt while simultaneously subjecting said solution to ultrasonic radiation; and removing the fabric or yarn from said solution and subsequently converting the metal salt in situ in the fabric or yarn into metal oxide nanoparticles, preferably via chemical and heat treatment. Fabrics and yarns obtained or obtainable by such method are also provided. In a further aspect the invention provides an apparatus for performing such method.
