THERMOTHERAPY DEVICE
A patient bed assembly unit as well as to a thermotherapy device for newborns includes a bed frame and a drawer. The bed frame has a drawer guide configured to make possible a drawer movement from a central pushed-in position in the bed frame along a first pull-out direction and in a second pull-out direction, which direction is opposite the first pull-out direction, into a pulled-out position of the drawer. A drawer-centering device acts on the drawer to move it into the central pushed-in position. The drawer can be removed from the guide. A drawer anti-tilt device is provided, which transmits a torque acting on the drawer directly to a bed frame and prevents the downward tilting of the drawer relative to the bed frame about an axis extending at right angles to the pull-out directions.
Chemo mobile cart system
A chemo mobile cart system for connecting a child transport vehicle to a mobile IV post assembly includes a quick-connect linkage having a platform and a quick-connect arm connectable to the mobile IV post assembly. The platform is releasably connected to the child transport vehicle, and a battery is disposed on the platform together with an inverter electrically connected to the battery. An electrical generator is electrically connected to the battery and disposed on or adjacent to the platform. The electrical generator is mechanically connected to the child transport vehicle and electrically connected to the battery to recharge the battery as the child transport vehicle moves across a support surface.
DELAYED CORD CLAMPING SYSTEM
A delayed cord-clamping surface is provided that includes a newborn platform having a recessed surface configured to receive a chemical warming mattress, where the chemical warming mattress includes a conformable surface, where the newborn platform includes a detachable platform support that is configured to position the newborn platform proximal to a surgical region of a C-section patient, where the newborn platform is configured to support a newborn baby while an umbilical cord remains connected between the newborn and the C-section patient for draining from a placenta, where the newborn platform is configured to fitably mount with a warming table when the newborn platform is in a detached state from the detachable platform support.
Adaptive Infant Positioning
Systems, methods and instrumentalities are disclosed for adaptive infant positioning to reliably maintain an infant of any size in any position. An infant positioning device may comprise, for example, one or more barrier restraints and infant restraints with or without accessory restraints. A barrier may form-fit an infant in any position (e.g. without gap fillers). A barrier restraint may resist barrier movement, e.g., by underlaying an infant and overlaying and tucking under a barrier. An infant restraint may resist infant movement, e.g., by overlaying an infant and tucking under a barrier. An accessory restraint may restrain accessories, e.g., for substrate adaptation, height adjustment, position-sculpting, comfort pads or devices and/or medical devices. Adaptive infant positioning may reliably maintain infants in proper developmental positions, reduce repositioning corrections, simplify positioning and repositioning procedures, reduce positioning errors, reduce handling and aural disruptions, reduce supplemental devices and procedures and/or reduce inventory space and costs.
Regenerati Incupod
The invention is a regenerative pod for premature babies.
Keyed and indexed embossed tube and taper lock system
A keyed and indexed tube and a taper lock system are suitable for use with a wheelchair, especially a pediatric wheelchair, which may require frequent adjustments during the growth of the occupant.
Temperature-controlled cradle
A device for maintaining a deceased fetus or infant at a temperature lower than ambient for extending preservation of the fetus or infant includes a frame, a cooling unit operatively attached to the frame, a cradle sized to contain the deceased fetus or infant and operatively attached to the frame, and a power supply conduit. The frame has a top end and a bottom end. The cradle is thermally connected to the cooling unit, and a power supply conduit is connected to the cooling unit.
Pediatric support system and method for medical imaging
A pediatric patient support system is provided. The system includes a support extension configured to be removably coupled to a cradle of a table, wherein the support extension includes radial supports extending in a radial direction relative to a longitudinal axis of the cradle. The system includes a pair of rods, wherein each rod is coupled to a respective radial support and extends substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis. The system includes a patient support disposed between and coupled to the rods, the patient support being configured to support a pediatric patient, wherein the patient support is configured to move axially relative to the longitudinal axis along the rods to move the pediatric patient in and out of a central bore of a medical imaging system.
Medical Examination Table for Babies
The invention relates to a medical examination table (1) for babies, comprising a body (2) having an upper surface (3) adapted anatomically to receive a baby lying down, and a lower face (4) comprising a projection (5) adapted to the legs (100) of the doctor.
Temperature-Controlled Cradle
A device for maintaining a deceased fetus or infant at a temperature lower than ambient; comprises a frame (14), a cooling unit (40) operatively attached to the frame, a cradle or bassinet (20) sized to contain the fetus or infant, operatively attached to the frame, and thermally connected to the cooling unit (40) which comprises a compressor system (44), a copper coil surrounded with an aluminium finned condenser unit (46), heat exchanger (48), evaporator (50) and base plate (30), drain pan (52), power supply conduit (54), and a thermostat (42).
