Washer and Dryer System and Method of Use
The present invention relates to a combination washing and drying appliance for laundry. The appliance is configured to automatically transfer wet clothes from the washing unit to the dryer unit for automatically drying the clothes. The appliance has either vertical or horizontal stacked washing and dryer units. The washing and dryer units have a common conduit for automatically transferring the wet laundry from the washing unit to the dryer unit after a wash cycle is completed. The dryer unit is automatically activated for drying wet clothes when the wet clothes are deposed in the dryer drum of the dryer unit. The common conduit is accessible only after completion of the wash cycle using sliding doors positioned on the washing tub of the washing unit and the dryer drum of the dryer unit.

The present disclosure relates to an integrated washing-drying machine and a method of controlling the same, the integrated washing-drying machine including a housing, a drying drum disposed at an upper side in the housing and configured to accommodate and dry laundry, a washing drum disposed at a lower side in the housing and configured to accommodate and wash laundry, a heat pump having an evaporator, a compressor, and a condenser and produce hot air for drying laundry and supply the hot air to the drying drum, and a cleaning means configured to clean the condenser by spraying cleaning water to the condenser. In this case, the cleaning means uses, as the cleaning water, at least any one of condensate water produced in the evaporator and washing water to be supplied to the washing drum. With this configuration, when the amount of condensate water is insufficient, the washing water is additionally supplied to clean the condenser cleanly.

The laundry treating apparatus includes a first treating apparatus, a second treating apparatus, and a control panel disposed signally connected to the first treating apparatus and the second treating apparatus, and the first treating apparatus includes a lower frame disposed rearward of the control panel and coupled to the control panel to fix the control panel.

A laundry treating apparatus includes a dryer disposed in an indoor space; a washing machine vertically disposed with respect to the dryer; a refresher disposed on one side of the dryer and the washing machine; and a heating device heating air supplied to at least one of the dryer, the washing machine, and the refresher. The heating device includes a plurality of compressors, and controls a number of compressors to be operated and an RPM of the operated compressors, according to a cycle status of the dryer, the washing machine, and the refresher.

A laundry treating apparatus according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes a dryer including a first cabinet, and a drum rotatably mounted in the first cabinet; a refresher including a second cabinet disposed on one side of the first cabinet and having an inner space for receiving laundry; a first supply air duct for supplying air into the drum; a second supply air duct for supplying air into the inner space of the second cabinet; and a heating device for heating air flowing into the first supply air duct and the second supply air duct, and disposed in the first cabinet and disposed under the drum, thereby supplying hot air to the dryer and the refresher by using a single heating device.
