SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CYCLING A COMMERCIAL APPLIANCE
A method for operating a commercial appliance, includes activating the commercial appliance. The commercial appliance is configured such that initiation of operating cycles of the commercial appliance does not require a payment authorization after activating the commercial appliance. The method also includes converting the commercial appliance. The commercial appliance is configured such that initiation of subsequent operating cycles of the commercial appliance requires the payment authorization after converting the commercial appliance.
Method of determining a load size in a laundry treating appliance
Method of determining a laundry load size in a laundry treating appliance comprising a rotatable drum at least partially defining a treating chamber for receiving laundry for treatment in accordance with a treating cycle of operation, an imaging device, and a controller having a processor, the method includes generating an image, detecting markings in the generated image, and determining, by the controller, a load size based thereon.
CLOTHING ITEM SEPARATING DEVICE AND CLOTHING ITEM PROCESSING DEVICE COMPRISING SAME
A clothes separating device and a clothes processing apparatus including the clothes separating device according to this disclosure are provided with a separator that operates to grip clothes in a washing tub and to separate, from the gripped clothes, another item of clothes entwined with the gripped clothes. In this manner, a user does not need to separate a plurality of individual items of clothes before folding the clothes. Hence, it is possible to provide the clothes separating device that contributes to reducing a burden of work related to laundry and a clothes processing apparatus including the clothes separating device.
Laundry treating apparatus
A laundry treating apparatus including a drum holding a washing object, a drive unit rotating the drum, a drive controller, a display unit with an input unit accepting drive unit control orders, and a display communicating treating progress of the washing object. The display unit having a controller with an input data processing unit, an output data processing unit, and a processing unit control program for running the input and output data processing units. The laundry treating apparatus further including a system managing unit enabling the drive controller and display unit to exchange data with the display unit controller, ordering operation of the display unit, and running the processing unit control program, a list storage unit storing a program list the display unit controller runs, and a monitoring unit for initializing the system managing unit if the processing unit control program is not at the list storage unit.
DRUM WASHING MACHINE
Provided is a drum washing machine, including: an outer tank, configured in a shell; a drum, configured in the outer tank and capable of rotating by using a horizontal shaft or an inclination shaft inclining relative to a horizontal direction as a center; a rotating body, configured at a rear part of the drum and having protruding parts in contact with washings on a surface of the rotating body; a driving part, capable of operating in a first drying form and a second driving form, wherein the first driving form refers to a driving form which enables the drum and the rotating body to rotate at different rotating speeds, and the second driving form refers to a driving form which enables the drum and the rotating body to rotate integrally at the same rotating speed; and a control part.
