Multiple load laundry appliance communication
A laundry system may include a washing machine appliance and a dryer appliance. The washing machine appliance may include a first controller configured to initiate a washing operation. The first controller may be configured store wash control information of a plurality of discrete washing operation occurrences of the washing machine appliance. The dryer appliance may include a second controller in operable communication with the first controller to receive one or more data signals therefrom. The second controller may be configured to initiate a drying operation. The first controller or the second controller may be configured to determine a combined load condition based on the wash control information of the plurality of discrete washing operation occurrences of the washing machine appliance. The second controller may be configured to adjust the drying operation according to the combined load condition.
HINGE ASSEMBLY FOR AN APPLIANCE
An appliance includes a cabinet defining at least one chamber accessible via an opening. The appliance also includes a cover member movable between an open position and a closed position for providing selective access to the opening. The appliance includes a hinge assembly constructed of a polymer material and operably coupled to the cover member. The hinge assembly includes first and second hinge members. The first hinge member is fixedly secured to the cabinet. The second hinge member includes a base portion fixedly secured to cover member and a pin portion. The pin portion is rotatably secured to the first hinge member to move the cover member between the open and closed positions. In the open position, the first and second hinge members cooperatively engage together to restrict movement of the cover member in the open position. In the closed position, the cabinet restricts movement of the cover member.
Laundry treating appliance lint filter
A laundry treating appliance comprising a treating chamber for holding clothes for treatment according to a cycle of operation, a treating chemistry dispenser that forms a housing with a first chamber with a port and a deflector and the dispenser is fluidly coupled to the treating chamber, and an air supply that has an inlet and outlet fluidly coupled to the treating chamber. A liquid bath is defined by a portion of the housing and a retaining wall in the treating chemistry dispenser. A free surface of the bath forms a gap with an edge of the deflector. Air supplied from the treating chamber is exhausted through the port into the first chamber of the treating chemistry dispenser and impinged upon the deflector which deflects the exhausted air through the gap between the bath and the deflector, where the bath removes lint contained within the exhausted air.
WASHING MACHINE
Disclosed is a washing machine having a cabinet forming an outer appearance and having an inlet port formed at the front, a tub provided inside the cabinet for storing wash water, a drum provided inside the tub to be rotatable, and a door installed in the cabinet for opening and closing the inlet port. The door is provided with an auxiliary door which can be freely opened and closed during the washing process independently of the door, so that laundry can be added even during the washing process.

LAUNDRY TREATING APPLIANCE HAVING A USER INTERFACE AND METHODS OF OPERATING SAME
A laundry treating appliance includes a treating chamber provided for receiving laundry for treatment, a controller having a memory in which is stored a set of executable instructions including a set of cycles of operations. The laundry treating appliance also includes a user interface operably coupled with the controller and having a touchscreen configured to provide an input and output function for the controller.
Selectable method of control for double basket laundry treating appliance
An apparatus and method of operating a laundry treating appliance can include a first basket defining a first treating chamber and a second basket defining a second treating chamber. A liquid supply system can selectively supply water to the first basket, second basket, or both of the first and second baskets. A user interface can be configured to receive input from a user. A controller can operably couple with the liquid supply system and the user interface. The controller can receive an input at the user interface to a configuration type for the laundry treating appliance and can indicate treatment variable available to the user reflective of the configuration type.
