An apparatus and method for reducing displacement of a washing machine having a drum rotatable about an axis of rotation is disclosed. The washing machine comprises a chassis and a motor for rotation a drum. The drum is suspended from the chassis by a suspension. The suspension can comprise springs having six natural frequencies that can resonate at a rotational speed of the drum driven by the motor. The suspension system can be tuned such that resonant frequencies can be varied based upon rotational speed of the drum.

An apparatus for securing items to the drum of a washer or dryer includes a plate with a first finger lift and a second finger lift, strap apertures, cutout portions, coupling apertures, and a drum coupler. The first and second finger lifts may protrude from the plate, allowing a user to pull on and detach the plate from the drum. The strap apertures may receive straps therein so as to couple an item, such as a shoe, knee pads, cap, etc., to the plate. Further, the coupling apertures may comprise protrusions to receive a bracket, which may be pivotally coupled to the coupling apertures, allowing the bracket to pivot.

The present disclosure relates to an aluminum alloy for die casting, more particularly, to an aluminum alloy for die casting which has high corrosion resistance, strength and castability. The embodiments of the present disclosure provide an aluminum alloy for die casting comprising a composition ratio having an aluminum (Al) content which occupies almost the composition ratio of the aluminum alloy; a magnesium (Mg) content of 2.5˜3.0%; a silicon (Si) content of 9.6˜0.5%; a zinc (Zn) content of 0.5% or less; and a copper (Cu) content of 0.15% or less.
