The front plate is an integrally formed integral plate-shaped structure covering the front surface of the laundry treatment apparatus, so that the laundry treatment apparatus has an integral whole appearance. The front plate and the framework are stably fixed into a whole, and gaps are prevented from being formed in the front, the back and two sides of the front plate of the laundry treatment apparatus.

An electronic device having a display on one side of the device and one or more image sensors on the opposite side of the device captures image data using the one or more image sensors. The display displays a portion of the captured image data on the display and a first graphical object overlaid on the displayed portion of the captured image data. A user gesture is detected using the one or more image sensors. In accordance with a determination that the detected user gesture meets a set of criteria, a position of the graphical object is updated based on the user gesture or is the first graphical object is replaced with a second graphical object. In accordance with a determination that the detected user gesture does not meet a set of criteria, the display of the first graphical object is maintained.

A washing machine includes a casing, a tub, a drum, a pump, a gasket that is arranged between a case opening and a tub opening and that includes first nozzles and second nozzles, and a water pipe assembly that includes: first nozzle ports affixed to the first nozzles, second nozzle ports affixed to the second nozzles, a first conduit, and a second conduit. The gasket further includes port insertion pipes into which the first and second nozzle ports inserted. Each of the first and second nozzle ports includes at least one press-fit protrusion that is formed on an outer circumferential surface of the nozzle supply port and that is configured to, in a state in which the nozzle supply port is inserted into a corresponding port insertion pipe, maintain contact with an inner circumferential surface of the port insertion pipe.

A collapsible agitator assembly includes an impeller that is attachable to a drive shaft of a washing machine to rotate clothing in the washing machine for washing. A first agitator tube is attachable to the drive shaft of the washing machine to agitate water in the washing machine for washing. The first agitator tube is retractable into the impeller. A bushing extends upwardly through the first agitator tube. A second agitator tube is attachable to the bushing and the second agitator tube is retractable inside of the first agitator tube to accommodate a small load of laundry. The second agitator tube is extendable upwardly from the first agitator tube to accommodate a large load of laundry.

A tub for use in a washer or dryer that is dividable into compartments by use of a removable dividing wall. The removable dividing wall can be inserted manually or mechanically into position and held in place with a removable wall securing device. The tub has expanding and contracting capabilities that allows the diameter of the tub to be altered.

A combination washing and drying appliance includes a tub positioned within an outer cabinet. A rotating drum includes a perforated wall. The rotating drum is rotationally operable within the tub. A blower delivers process air through an airflow path that includes a processing space within the rotating drum and an interstitial space defined between the tub and the rotating drum. An operable vent is selectively operable between a venting position and a closed position. The operable vent defines a passive flow of ambient air between the processing space and an area outside of the tub. The operable vent is operable to the closed position during a spin function of the rotating drum.

A combination washing and drying appliance includes a tub positioned within an outer cabinet. A rotating drum includes a perforated wall. The rotating drum is rotationally operable within the tub. A blower delivers process air through an airflow path that includes a processing space within the rotating drum and an interstitial space defined between the tub and the rotating drum. An operable vent is selectively operable between a venting position and a closed position. The operable vent defines a passive flow of ambient air between the processing space and an area outside of the tub. The operable vent is operable to the closed position during a spin function of the rotating drum.

A laundry treatment apparatus includes a housing. The laundry treatment apparatus further includes a tub. The laundry treatment apparatus further includes a drum. The laundry treatment apparatus further includes a heater. The laundry treatment apparatus further includes a tub through-portion formed in the tub so that the heater is inserted into a space located between a bottom surface of the drum and a bottom surface of the tub. The laundry treatment apparatus further includes three or more first support members. The laundry treatment apparatus further includes second support members that protrude from a circumferential surface of the tub, a number of the second support members being equal to a number of the three or more first support members. The laundry treatment apparatus further includes a plurality of connectors that are each configured to connect a first support member and a second support member.

A washing machine includes: a cabinet having a first opening and a washing space formed therein; and a door assembly provided to open and close the first opening, wherein the door assembly includes: a door body having a second opening and corresponding to the first opening and provided to rotate relative to the cabinet; door glass having a glass hole communicating with the inside of the cabinet and coupled with the rear surface of the door body; a guide duct that connects the second opening and the glass hole; and a sealing member. The sealing member can prevent washing water or internal air from escaping from the door assembly.

A laundry treating apparatus includes a body provided with a laundry inlet; and a door configured to open or close the laundry inlet, wherein the door includes a door frame having a first opening portion facing the laundry inlet and a second opening portion corresponding to a display module mounted at an inside in a state that the door is closed; and a door cover coupled to the door frame to form an appearance of the door, the door cover includes a non-light-transmitting region, and a first light transmitting region corresponding to the first opening portion and a second light transmitting region corresponding to the second opening portion within the non-light-transmitting region, and a mounting guide for an alignment between the first opening portion and the first light transmitting region and an alignment between the second opening portion and the second light transmitting region is provided on at least one of the door frame and door cover during mutual coupling.
