TUB SUPPORT
A washing machine tub lock device is provided that prevents the wash tub from impacting the washing machine cabinet during shipping and handling. The tub lock device is formed by cutting and folding a corrugated blank into an inverted truncated rectangular cone that can be wedged inside the top portion of the washing machine tub. The tub lock device includes hanging tabs which prevent the tub lock device from falling into the wash tub during shipping and handling. The tub lock device also includes elliptical tabs which bend or deform into elliptical cutouts such that the edges of the elliptical cutouts are covered, thus preventing the elliptical cutouts from damaging the washing machine during shipping and handling.
SCENTED PACKAGING FOR AN APPLIANCE
An appliance having one or more scented packaging materials is provided. The scented packaging materials removably attach to or support the appliance, e.g., during shipping. A preselected scent emanates from the scented packaging materials. Thus, when the appliance is delivered to a consumer, the preselected scent emanating from the scented packaging materials provides the appliance with an attractive smell.
SHIPPING BOLT SPACER AND METHOD OF USE THEREOF
The present disclosure provides a spacer for a shipping bolt. In one embodiment, the spacer includes a head, an elongated body, and an insert. The head and the elongated body each comprise a durometer greater than the insert. Together, the head and the elongated body provide a structure within which the insert is disposed to absorb forces otherwise imposed upon a bolt inserted through the spacer. The disclosure also provides a method of using the spacer to secure a component of an appliance. In a second embodiment, the spacer is of a unitary construction and manufactured of an elastomeric material. In the second embodiment the spacer is configured to absorb forces imposed upon a bolt inserted therethrough, using a combination of specially designed ribs and webs interconnecting concentric cylinders that partially define the opening.

The portable clothes-washing machine is an electromechanical device. The portable clothes-washing machine is configured for use with one or more garments. The wall-mounted washing machine may include a cabinet having an external shape; a rear panel configured to be mounted on a wall; a tub supported by the rear panel and configured to contain wash water; a front panel having an opening over the tub; a rotatable drum in the tub; and a distance sensor. The distance sensor may be at an upper portion or section or a lower portion or section of the washing machine.
Basement assembly for reducing noise levels of a household appliance
A basement assembly of a household appliance is provided herein. A basement has a bottom compartment and a top compartment. The bottom compartment is separated from the top compartment and includes a plurality of voids. A plurality of acoustic pads are configured to reduce noise levels produced by the household appliance. Each of the acoustic pads is configured to be received in one of the voids. A cover member is coupled to the basement and is configured to confine the acoustic pads therein.
Self-Contained Mobile Finishing Center for Garment Finishing
A self-contained mobile finishing garment center includes two containers that include a computer-controlled system that laser finishes garments ordered by customers. A first container includes an order system and a laser that laser forms a customer ordered wear pattern into the fabric of a garment, such as jeans. A second container includes wet processing equipment, such as a clothes washer and a clothes dryer that wash and dry the garment. The self-contained mobile finishing center facilitates the receipt of a custom order for jeans and the laser finishing and delivery of the jeans in a relatively short time, such as in less than an hour. The containers are mobile and can be shipped by truck, rail, or ship to a variety of locations and events for custom finishing garments according to customer's custom orders to provide custom ordered garment in a short time period, such as during an event.
