A washing machine appliance includes a pretreatment assembly positioned proximate a top panel of the washing machine appliance for spot treating articles of clothing prior to a wash cycle. The pretreatment assembly includes a detergent reservoir defining an aperture and being configured for receiving a fluid additive. A ball socket is positioned at least partially within the aperture and a roller ball applicator is rotatably mounted within the ball socket. The roller ball applicator is at least partially in contact with the fluid additive within the detergent reservoir such that a user may rub an article of clothing on the roller ball applicator to transfer fluid additive from the detergent reservoir to the article of clothing.

A washing machine appliance that includes a spot treating device is provided. The spot treating device includes features that allow a user to conveniently spot treat laundry articles and provides for an improved visual rendering of the laundry articles during a treatment operation.

A fabric treating appliance includes a cabinet defining an interior and having a top wall defining an access opening. A cover is provided that is movable relative to the cabinet between an open position and a closed position to selectively close the access opening. A tub is located within the interior and includes and open top aligned with the access opening. A stain removal device adapted to at least partially surround a stain located on a fabric to activate in a targeted manner includes a shell comprising a wall with an inner surface, an outer surface, a rim defining an aperture in the shell, the rim being defined by the inner and outer surfaces and the inner surface defining a shell cavity, at least one opening extending through the wall of the shell between the inner and outer surfaces of the shell, a dispensable cleaning agent at least partially disposed within the shell cavity, and an attachment portion at least partly coupled to the shell. The attachment portion is configured to removably couple the stain removal device to a fabric or article of clothing such that the rim of the shell contacts the fabric and at least partially surrounds a stain located on the fabric. So configured, the dispensable cleaning agent may activate in a targeted manner relative to the stain during a wash cycle.

The present disclosure provides a stain removal device capable of performing partial beating and washing on a cloth product, automatically supplying liquid and applying a beating force to a stain portion appearing on the cloth product, preventing liquid leakage and realizing miniaturization. The stain removal device includes: a cassette mechanism, which includes a head portion having a beating surface and a water supply bottle for accommodating liquid, where water supply paths are from the water supply bottle and throughout the head portion; and a device main body, which includes a vibration unit mountable by pressing the cassette mechanism and detachable by pulling out the vibration unit and is configured to apply a vibration to the cassette mechanism towards a direction substantially orthogonal to the beating surface of the head portion through supplied electric power.

The laundry washing machine (1) furthermore includes: a push member (18, 33) which is able to elastically push the drawerlike supporting structure (13) away from the retracted position and towards the completely extracted position; a locking mechanism (19) for automatically holding the drawer-like supporting structure (13) in the retracted position and to prevent the push member (18, 33) from pushing the drawer-like supporting structure (13) away from the retracted position; and a manually operated command device (20) for forcing the locking mechanism (19) to release the drawerlike supporting structure (13), thus allowing the push member (18, 33) to push the drawer-like supporting structure (13) away from the retracted position.
