Ironing apparatus
An ironing apparatus (100) comprises a rotating cylinder (11) and a burner assembly (2) comprising a main body (20) in which a passage (21) for a mixture of air and gas is defined. The main body comprises an outlet surface (22) in which a plurality of holes (220) are defined, through which the mixture of air and gas exits from the passage, wherein the passage is elongate-shaped, extends in a longitudinal direction inside said rotating cylinder and has a decreasing cross section along the longitudinal direction (x).
FLATWORK IRONER
The flatwork ironer comprises a heating cylinder (1), a plurality of conveying bands (2), defining said conveying bands (2) a plurality of zones in an introduction area of articles to be ironed, and a plurality of temperature sensors (3) of said heating cylinder (1), indication means for indicating at least one zone (5) of the conveying bands where the articles to be ironed must be placed according to the temperature detected by said plurality of sensors (3), wherein said indicating means are placed in said are for introducing the articles to be ironed.
It permits to place correctly the articles to be ironed in the correct position not looking away from the introduction area.

Method for ironing items of laundry, and band ironer
A method and device allowing the items of laundry which are to be ironed to enter the ironer gap in a manner directed downwards. For this purpose, the inlet region is preferably arranged below the outlet region. The invention ensures a disturbance-free and crease-free entry of items of laundry to be ironed into the band ironer. In the case of band ironers, the inlet region, and outlet region have to lie tightly together in order to bring about as large a wrapping angle of the ironer body by means of the ironer band as possible. This makes the inlet of items of laundry to be ironed into the ironer gap emerging from the inlet region problematic. This invention described herein provides a solution to this problem.

Method and device for ironing items of laundry
In band ironers, laundry items are moved along a pressing surface of a stationary ironer roller by an ironer band that entrains the laundry items, wherein the laundry items slide with slip along a lateral surface of the ironer roller. As the speed of the ironer increases, slip between the laundry items and the lateral surface of the ironer roller increases. When the desired ironing quality makes less slip necessary, the circumferential speed of the ironer band has to be reduced, and the throughput of the band ironer suffers. The invention is to drive the ironer roller in a circumferential manner wherein the slip between the ironer roller and the laundry items is adjusted in an arbitrary manner as a result of adjusting the rotational speed of the drive of the ironer roller and/or the circumferential speed of the ironer band without reducing the throughput of the band ironer.

FABRIC TYPE IDENTIFYING APPARATUS AND FABRIC TYPE IDENTIFYING METHOD
To provide a fabric type identifying apparatus and a fabric type identifying method enabling to stably identify a type of fabric with high accuracy. A fabric type identifying apparatus A for identifying a type of a fabric F provided with a color thread T at an edge portion includes a camera 51 for photographing the fabric F, and an image processing apparatus 52 for receiving an image input and photographed by the camera 51. The image processing apparatus 52 acquires a color value of the color thread T from the received image of the fabric F, and identifies the type of the fabric F on a basis of the color value. Since the type of the fabric F is identified on the basis of the color of the color thread T, the type of the fabric F is enabled to be stably identified with high accuracy regardless of stretching and shrinking of the fabric F.
