Clothes treatment apparatus and control method thereof
A clothes treatment apparatus (100) and a control method thereof are disclosed. The clothes treatment apparatus (100) includes a cabinet (1) closed by a door (3) and an accommodation space (2) provided in the cabinet (1), consisting for example of a first accommodation space (21) and a second accommodation space (23), wherein a mechanism chamber (25) is provided. The clothes treatment apparatus (100) includes a fixed nozzle device (4) comprising heated air supply holes (41), steam supply holes (43) and detergent supply holes (45) and a moving nozzle device (5) which reciprocates along a guide part (51). Clothes are held by a hanger (7) in the accommodation space (2).
Laundry treating apparatus and method for controlling the same
A method is provided for controlling a laundry treating apparatus. The method may include controlling the drum to accelerate the drum to rotate at a first speed, applying a brake to stop the drum, accelerating the drum to a second speed, sensing a current being applied to the motor while the drum is accelerated to the second speed, and determining a laundry amount based on the sensed current.
A CONTROL METHOD OF THE LAUNDRY APPARATUS
A method for controlling a laundry treating apparatus is disclosed. In a washing step, the presence or absence of entangled laundry is detected using at least one of a vibration value of a drum, a current value applied to a drive unit, and an RPM value of the drum, and a step of untangling the entangled laundry is performed using at least one of a vibration value of a drum, a current value applied to a drive unit, and an RPM value of the drum.
Laundry treating appliance with load surface area detection
The invention relates to a laundry treating appliance and method for controlling the operation of the laundry treating appliance by determining the surface area of the laundry based on image data of the laundry.
Laundry appliance that identifies items not intended to be run through a washer or dryer cycle
Embodiments of the invention relate to the field of laundry appliances. In an embodiment, a laundry appliance system includes a laundry appliance such as a washing machine that includes an opening for receiving and removing clothes and a door that covers the opening during a washing cycle. The washer is equipped with a receiver comprising a computer, an RF reader, and an antenna positioned near the opening. The antenna, for example, may be positioned on or within the door. The antenna may also be a circular pass through antenna tailored to encircle the opening in a way that permits the door to be closed. RFID tags are provided for affixing to items not intended to be laundered (i.e., run through a washing cycle of washing machine or a drying cycle of a dryer appliance). Such items may include wallets, passports, watches, keys, phones, and other electronic devices or important documents that could be damages or destroyed if passed through a washing cycle. When the RF reader detects an RFID tag that has been affixed to an item not intended to be laundered, the receiver alerts the appliance operator by sound, visual information, or other information that an unintended item has been placed in the laundry appliance.
LAUNDRY LOAD SOIL LEVEL DETECTION SYSTEM
A laundry washing machine and method of operating same for the purpose of automatically determining a soil level of a laundry load from two turbidity readings taken before a washing cycle commences, such as during a pre-wash, filling phase. The machine is configured to detect a load size, add a first amount of water and take a first turbidity reading. A first dose of detergent is then added, a second amount of water added and the wetted load is gently tumbled/agitated before taking a second turbidity reading. A value based upon a ratio of the turbidity readings can determine the soil level of the load in order to choose a wash-related parameter, such as how much detergent to use for the subsequent complete wash cycle and/or the duration thereof.
CLOTHING REGISTRATION DEVICE AND CLOTHING RECOMMENDATION DEVICE, AND ONLINE SYSTEM COMPRISING SAME
The present invention relates to an online system and a control method therefor, the online system comprising clothing devices which may receive physical information of a user, notify of a change in the physical information, register clothing information held by the user, put together the schedule of the user, weather, preferences, the trend in the area where the user is located, and information on the clothing being sold, and recommend customized clothing to the user.
Laundry treating appliance lint filter
A method of removing lint from drying air in a laundry treating appliance having a treating chamber for holding clothes for treatment according to a cycle of operation, a treating chemistry dispenser fluidly coupled to the treating chamber, and an air supply having an inlet and outlet fluidly coupled to the treating chamber is disclosed. The method comprises a laundry treating phase comprising supplying treating chemistry from the treating chemistry dispenser to the treating chamber and leaving a portion of the treating chemistry within the treating chamber to form a bath of treating chemistry, a laundry drying phase comprising supplying air to the treating chamber through the inlet and exhausting the supplied air from the treating chamber.
LAUNDRY TREATING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME
A laundry treating apparatus includes a drum and a rotator. The rotator includes a bottom portion positioned on a bottom surface of the drum, and a pillar protruding upward from the bottom portion and having a blade disposed on an outer circumferential surface thereof. A controller controls a driver such that the rotator performs an ascending and descending motion for forming an ascending water flow or a descending water flow at least once in a washing cycle of laundry. The controller performs a method for controlling the laundry treating apparatus and controls the driver such that a rotation in one direction and a rotation in the other direction of the rotator are performed by different amounts of rotation in the ascending and descending motion.
DEWATERING MACHINE
A dewatering machine including: a dewatering tank, formed in a cylindrical shape with a central axis extending in a direction inclined relative to an up-down direction; a balancing ring coaxially arranged in the dewatering tank, liquid for achieving rotational balance of the dewatering tank is contained in the balancing ring and flows freely; a control part. The control part causes the dewatering tank to rotate at a rotating speed lower than a lowest rotating speed at which the dewatering tank resonates in a dewatering preparation stage of washings, so as to detect a biased position of the washings, causes the dewatering tank to stop rotating immediately before the washings biased in the dewatering tank are positioned at an opposite side of liquid biased downward in the balancing rings to a lower side, relative to the central axis.
