Method and apparatus for washing machine dehydration, and washing machine
Disclosed are a method and apparatus for washing machine dehydration, and a washing machine. The method includes: step 1, detecting a current eccentricity value to serve as a first eccentricity value, and determining a first dehydration rotational speed value corresponding to the first eccentricity value; step 2, performing a corresponding dehydration operation; step 3, detecting another current eccentricity value to serve as a second eccentricity value, and determining a second dehydration rotational speed value corresponding to the second eccentricity value; step 4, if the second eccentricity value is smaller than the first eccentricity value, performing a corresponding dehydration operation, assigning the value of the second eccentricity value to the first eccentricity value and then performing the step 3; and step 5, if the second eccentricity value is greater than or equal to the first eccentricity value, performing a leveling operation, and then performing the step 3.
Laundry treating apparatus having induction heater and control method thereof
Disclosed are an object treating apparatus, and more particularly, an object treating apparatus for heating a drum using an induction heater and a control method thereof. The object treating apparatus includes a tub; a drum rotatably disposed within the tub and accommodating an object therein; an induction heater disposed on the tub and configured to heat an outer circumferential face of the drum contacting the heater; a motor to rotate the drum; and a processor configured to control an operation of the induction heater to dry the object, wherein the processor is configured to: control revolution per minute (RPM) of the drum to perform at least two drum motions having at least two different target RPMs respectively when drying the object.

The display unit having a controller with an input data processing unit, an output data processing unit, and a processing unit control program for running the input and output data processing units. The laundry treating apparatus further including a system managing unit enabling the drive controller and display unit to exchange data with the display unit controller, ordering operation of the display unit, and running the processing unit control program, a list storage unit storing a program list the display unit controller runs, and a monitoring unit for initializing the system managing unit if the processing unit control program is not at the list storage unit.
Hybrid RF/conventional clothes dryer
The present application encompasses methods and apparatus for heating a load such as clothes immersed in a medium such as water during a heating period. A method embodiment of the present invention comprises heating the load and medium within an enclosure by subjecting said load and medium to heated air originated from a conventional energy source; and applying heat to said load and medium within the enclosure via an AC electrical field, embodied as a capacitor, originated from an RF power source.
CLOTHES TREATING APPARATUS
The present invention relates to a clothes treating apparatus, including a communication unit to transmit or receive information related to a usage history of the clothes treating apparatus, a memory to store the information related to the usage history, an air supply device to heat air supplied into an accommodation space of the clothes treating apparatus, and a controller to extract a use time zone of the clothes treating apparatus based on the information related to the usage history, drive the air supply device in a preset pattern within the extracted use time zone, and stop an operation of the clothes treating apparatus at a time zone except for the extracted use time zone.
Household appliance having a physical alteration element
A household appliance for treating at least one item according to at least one cycle of operation includes a treating chamber for receiving the at least one item for treatment according to the at least one cycle of operation, a treating chemistry dispenser receiving a unit dose container having an electrically conductive element, a physical alteration element located proximate to the treating chemistry dispenser and operable to physically alter at least a portion of the electrically conductive element and a sensor for sensing the physical alteration.
Domestic clothes dryer and method for driving such dryers
A domestic clothes dryer comprises a rotating drum defining a drying chamber, an air inlet upstream the drum and at least a hollow lifter mounted in the drum, wherein said hollow lifter is in communication with the air inlet for distributing air inside the drum through a plurality of openings. The air inlet comprises a shaped air plenum chamber facing a lower portion of a rear perforated wall of the drum and capable of delivering air to said lifter and/or directly to the drum through said rear perforated wall.
WASHING MACHINE AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME
Disclosed herein are a washing machine and a method of controlling the same. The washing machine includes a motor configured to generate a rotational force, an inverter module with a plurality of switching circuits installed therein and configured to adjust a driving current supplied to the motor, and a controller configured to detect whether a fault signal is generated by an overcurrent in the inverter module and to control opening and closing of at least one of the plurality of switching circuits based on a detection result of the occurrence of fault signal when controlling the driving of the motor.
DRYER APPLIANCE DRY TIME ESTIMATION
A method of operating a dryer appliance includes determining a remaining moisture content of a load of articles to be dried in the dryer appliance and estimating an energy requirement for drying the load of articles based on the determined remaining moisture content of the load of articles. The method also includes activating a heating system of the dryer appliance during a dry cycle of the dryer appliance while tracking an energy output of the heating system during the dry cycle. The method further includes comparing the tracked energy output to the estimated energy requirement. When the tracked energy output is greater than a predetermined threshold percentage of the estimated energy requirement, a user notification is provided.
