DRY APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
A dryer comprising: a user interface configured to receive input for a drying course; a communication interface; a drum; a hot air supply device to supply hot air to the drum; a sensing device, enabled to self-generate power based on a movement of the sensing device inside the drum while the drum is being rotated and transmits sensing data according to a voltage generated according to the self-power generation to the communication interface; and a processor to control an operation of the hot air supply device on the basis of the input for the drying course received through the user interface, where the control of the operation of the hot wind supplying device by the processor includes determining an operation time during which the hot air supply device operates to supply the hot air to the drum on the basis of the sensing data.
METHOD FOR IMPLEMENTING CLEANING CYCLES IN COMMERCIAL WASHING MACHINE APPLIANCES
A method of operating a washing machine appliance in a commercial laundromat setting includes receiving a request to start a new wash cycle from a user of the washing machine appliance, determining that a self-clean condition exists, identifying an anticipated laundromat capacity, determining that the anticipated laundromat capacity falls below a predetermined capacity threshold, prompting the user to initiate a self-clean cycle in response to determining that the self-clean condition exists and that the anticipated laundromat capacity falls below the predetermined capacity threshold, receiving a command to initiate the self-clean cycle from the user, and initiating the self-clean cycle and providing the user with an incentive for initiating the self-clean cycle.
FABRIC CLEANING APPLIANCE WITH PERFORMANCE ENHANCEMENT SELECTOR
A method of operating a laundry treating appliance having a tub, a rotatable drum at least partially defining a treating chamber, and a treating chemistry dispenser comprising multiple treating chemistry cups configured to dispense treating chemistry to the treating chamber. The method comprises performing a first wash cycle and dispensing a first dose of treating chemistry from one of the treating chemistry cups, receiving at a controller a user selection of an activation of a performance enhancement selector, and upon activation of the performance enhancement selector, activating a second wash cycle comprising dispensing a second dose of treating chemistry from another of treating chemistry cups.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MANAGING HOME APPLIANCE WATER USE
A water use management system may be installed in a setting that contains a primary infrastructure for water use to provide an alternate, modular infrastructure for water use. Fresh water used at various points of use, such as a shower or sink, may be diverted into the modular infrastructure prior to draining into the primary infrastructure. Once diverted, the precedent use water is received at a reservoir system where it is treated for a subsequent use. Treatment may include filtration and/or chemical treatment, and may be based upon sensor feedback from the reservoir system. Once treated, the water is ready for subsequent use and may flow from the reservoir system, via the modular infrastructure, to a subsequent point of use, such as a toilet.
Laundry treatment device
The present invention relates to a laundry treating apparatus. The laundry treating apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a control unit which controls the tub to rotate at a first speed in a case of a blanket dehydration mode, to rotate at a second speed lower than the first speed so that the plurality of balls are dispersed when amount of eccentricity in the first speed rotation is equal to or greater than a first reference value, and to rotate at a third speed higher than the first speed when the amount of eccentricity in the first speed rotation is less than the first reference value. Accordingly, in a blanket dehydration mode, it is possible to stably perform dehydration by preventing the plurality of balls from operating unbalanced.
Washing machine
Disclosed herein is a washing machine including a first data acquirer configured to collect data related to a laundry pattern of a user, a second data acquirer configured to collect data related to context information, and a processor configured to provide the laundry pattern of the user and the context information to a reinforcement learning model as an environment and to train the reinforcement learning model using feedback of the user on a recommended laundry course when the reinforcement learning model recommends the laundry course.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING LAUNDRY EQUIPMENT, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
The method is implemented at a washing mode sharing platform. A to-be-shared washing parameter of at least one first laundry equipment, and a to-be-shared washing mode corresponding to the to-be-shared washing parameter, are acquired. A historical data set is generated based on the to-be-shared washing parameter and the to-be-shared washing mode. A target washing mode and a target washing parameter corresponding to the target washing mode are determined from the historical data set. The target washing mode and the target washing parameter are sent to second laundry equipment.
Drum type washing machine and control method thereof
A drum type washing machine capable of realizing weight reduction and improvement in washing performance at low cost is provided. A drum type washing machine is disclosed. A pulsator is installed rotatably at a bottom of the drum rotatably accommodated in a tub. A motor configured to rotate forward and backward rotationally drives the drum and the pulsator. A control device executes a washing mode in which the motor is driven at a low rotation and a spinning mode in which the motor is driven at a high rotation. The pulsator and the drum have different velocity ratios. A second drive transmission element of the pulsator includes a clutch. Based on executing the washing mode, the drum is rotationally driven while the pulsator is rotationally driven or is allowed to idle. Based on executing the spinning mode, the drum is rotationally driven while the pulsator is allowed to idle.
CHEMICAL DOSING SYSTEM
Disclosed herein is a chemical dosing system for an appliance, such as a laundry washing machine or a dishwashing machine, having a water inlet, the system comprising a meter for determining the volume of water supplied to the appliance, a pump for dispensing a quantity of a chemical to the appliance and a control unit arranged to receive a signal from the meter and to cause to be dispensed to the appliance a volume of chemical that is proportional to the quantity of water supplied to the appliance. The disclosed system may enable a correct quantity of chemical to be automatically dispensed to many types of appliance, without the need to know anything about the appliance, or to derive electrical signal from the appliance.
