Disclosed is a laundry treating apparatus including: a water discharger supply pipe for supplying water stored in a water collector to a water discharger; a water supply pipe constructed to connect the water discharger and the water collector to each other; and a water collector water-level sensor for measuring a water-level inside the water collector, and a controller configured to control the laundry treating apparatus comprising: a water-level sensing operation in which the water collector water-level sensor measures the water-level of the water collector during a drying operation; and a cleaning water supply operation in which when the water-level of the water collector is lower than a predefined cleaning-related reference water-level, a water supply valve is controlled to supply water stored in the water discharger to the water collector.

CUSTOMIZING CLEANING CYCLES
20220392011 · 2022-12-08 ·

A method includes receiving, at an artificial intelligence (AI) accelerator of a computing system, image data of one or more objects from an image sensor and performing an AI operation on the image data at the AI accelerator of the computing system using an AI model. The method further includes determining a custom cleaning cycle at the AI accelerator in response to performing the AI operation.

System and method for controlling static electricity within a dryer appliance

A dryer appliance including a drum defining a chamber for receiving clothes, a moisture sensor for detecting a remaining moisture content within the clothes, and a water supply in fluid communication with the chamber is provided. A controller determines that the remaining moisture content has dropped below a predetermined moisture content and calculates a remaining cycle time based at least in part on a selected dryness level. The controller further determines a spray schedule based on at least one of a load size, a flow restriction, or a selected heat level, and provides a spray of water into the chamber according to the spray schedule until the remaining cycle time has lapsed.

AUTOMATED LENS CLEANING FOR A CAMERA ASSEMBLY BASED ON IMAGE RECOGNITION IN A WASHING MACHINE APPLIANCE

A washing machine appliance includes a camera assembly mounted in view of a wash chamber for obtaining images of the wash chamber. The lens of the camera assembly is positioned adjacent a water outlet of a water dispenser and a controller is configured to facilitate an automated cleaning method for the camera assembly, the method including obtaining one or more images of the wash chamber using the camera assembly, analyzing the one or more images to determine an image quality, determining that the image quality has dropped below a quality threshold, and operating the water dispenser to perform a lens cleaning operation in response to determining that the image quality has dropped below the quality threshold.
