WASHING MACHINE HAVING REMINDING FUNCTION FOR PREVENTING CLOTHING FROM FADING AND METHOD
A washing machine having a reminding function for preventing clothing from fading, comprising: an outer drum for accommodating washing water; a color sensor arranged on the washing machine and detecting the color of the washing water, so that according to changes in the color of the washing water in a washing process, it is determined whether the clothing being washed is fading or not. Detection of the color of the washing water achieves the aim of determining, according to the changes in the color of the washing water, whether the clothing being washed is fading or not, thereby improving the sensitivity and accuracy of determination, and preventing a situation wherein fading clothing contaminates the washing water then causes secondary contamination of other clothing being washed.
WASHING MACHINE AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF
In accordance with one aspect of the present disclosure, a washing machine includes a rotating tub configured to accommodate laundry, a water supply pipe configured to spray water over a surface of the laundry. The washing machine also includes a controller configured to execute a water supply cycle in which an operation of each of the rotating tub and the water supply pipe is controlled and water is supplied to the rotating tub. The washing machine further includes a wash cycle in which the laundry is washed and the controller executes a first cycle in which the rotating tub is rotated faster than a rotational speed in the wash cycle so as to discharge air contained inside the laundry before the wash cycle is terminated.
WASHING METHOD WITH INFUSER IN A VERTICAL LOAD WASHING MACHINE (AQUA)
The present invention relates to a washing method for textiles, which prevents the clothes to be washed from becoming disarranged, entangled or knotted by means of an intensive agitating cycle with asymmetric and symmetric agitating cycles in combination with soaking periods thereby achieving optimal washing with low water consumption.
Clothes treatment apparatus and method for controlling the same
Disclosed herein is a clothes treatment apparatus. The clothes treatment apparatus includes a drum configured to accommodate clothes, an inputter configured to receive one of a plurality of programs and configured to receive a start command, a storage configured to store information on a setting time corresponding to a weight of clothes for each program and configured to store information on a default time for each program previously executed, in the form of tables, a processor configured to detect a weight of clothes when any one program is received and a start command is received, configured to identify a setting time corresponding to the detected weight of clothes and the received program, configured to control the execution of the received program based on the identified setting time, and configured to store an operation time, which is taken until the completion of the received program, as a default time, and a display configured to display a remaining time during the execution of the received program.
WASHING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD FOR THE SAME
A washing apparatus and control method where the washing apparatus comprises a door configured to open and close the entrance; a tub inside a main body and having an opening corresponding to an entrance to the main body; a diaphragm configured to connect the entrance with the opening; a drum rotatably provided inside the tub; a door washing nozzle provided on the diaphragm to inject washing water to the door. The door washing nozzle is controlled to inject the washing water for a first time in a first section and inject the washing water for a second time in a second section when a washing mode of the diaphragm including the first section at which the drum in a stopped state arrives at a first target rotation speed and the second section at which the drum rotated at the first target rotation speed arrives at a second target rotation speed.
APPARATUS FOR TREATING LAUNDRY AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A laundry treatment apparatus that includes: a cabinet; an outer tub that is disposed inside the cabinet; a plurality of heat exchange tubes through which air discharged from the outer tub moves, the plurality of heat exchange tubes being arranged to have a gap between adjacent heat exchange tubes; a heat exchange tube housing that is configured to accommodate the plurality of heat exchange tubes and that defines an interior area configured to store cooling water; a cooling water introduction passage that is coupled to a lower portion of the heat exchange tube housing and through which cooling water is provided to the heat exchange tube housing; and a cooling water discharge passage that is coupled to a upper portion of the heat exchange tube housing and through which cooling water stored in the heat exchange tube housing is discharged is disclosed.
Method of determining volume of water to add to first and second washing compartments of a washing machine as a function of determined moment of inertia
A washing machine includes a first washing compartment to hold a first set of articles to be washed and a second washing compartment to holds a second set of articles to be washed, the second washing compartment having an inserted position and a removed position. A liquid flow valve is configured to connect to an external liquid source to selectively control flow of liquid from the external liquid source and into one or more of the first washing compartment and the second washing compartment. An electric motor is configured to rotate the first washing compartment, and the second washing compartment, when the second washing compartment is in the inserted position. A controller, in communication with the electric motor, determines a mass of the second set of articles and then determines, as a function of the determined mass, a volume of water to be added to the second washing compartment.
Method for Operating a Laundry Washing Machine and Laundry Washing Machine
A method for operating a laundry washing machine (100; 300) having a controllable dosing device (120; 191) suitable to supply water from an external water supply line (E) into a container (110; 172) and a metering device (125; 192) arranged between the external water supply line (E) and the container (110; 172) for determining the amount of water flowing through the dosing device (120; 191). The method measures the surplus water flowing through the dosing device (120; 191) after deactivation of the latter in a first water conveying step for conveying a first amount of water from the external water supply line (E) into the container (110; 172) and controls the supply of water in a further water conveying step taking in account the surplus water previously measured.
METHOD FOR DETECTING A LOW WATER PRESSURE IN A WASHING MACHINE APPLIANCE
Washing machine appliances and methods of operating the same are provided. Such methods may include, and/or appliances may be configured for, receiving a command to commence an operating cycle of the washing machine appliance and filling the wash tub with wash liquid from a fluid circulation system configured for providing fluid to the wash tub via an inlet of the fluid circulation system in response to the command. Methods may further include and/or appliances may be configured for, obtaining one or more images of the inlet of the fluid circulation system during the fill step using a camera mounted within the cabinet. The camera is positioned and oriented with the inlet within a field of vision of the camera. Based on the one or more images, a determination is made whether a water pressure provided to the fluid circulation system is above a predetermined minimum water pressure.
COMBINATION LAUNDRY APPLIANCE WITH IMPROVED DRYING
A laundry appliance includes a cabinet and a tub mounted within an interior volume of the cabinet. A laundry basket is rotatably mounted within the tub. The laundry basket defines a chamber for the receipt of articles for treatment. The laundry appliance also includes a heating system coupled to the tub. The heating system is in thermal communication with the chamber such that heated air flows from the heating system to the chamber. The laundry appliance further includes a controller. The controller may be configured for, and methods of operating the appliance may include, providing a flow of a liquid into a tub of the laundry appliance, rotating a laundry basket within the tub after providing the flow of the liquid into the tub, and activating the heating system of the laundry appliance during at least a portion of the step of rotating the laundry basket.
