An object treating apparatus includes a tub, a rotatable drum for receiving an object, an induction heater for heating an outer circumferential face of the drum, a motor for rotating the drum, an upper temperature sensor, a lower temperature sensor, and a processor. The upper temperature sensor detects a temperature of a space between the tub and the drum. The upper temperature sensor is disposed inside the tube at an upper portion of the tub. The lower temperature sensor detects a temperature around condensed water at a bottom of the tub. The lower temperature sensor is disposed inside the tub at a lower portion of the tub. The processor can determine a drying ending timing based on the temperatures detected by the upper and lower temperature sensors.

A laundry machine includes a tub; a drum that is rotatably mounted in the tub and holds laundry; an induction heater that is provided in the tub and configured to heat an outer circumferential surface of the drum located in opposite; a motor that is configured to drive so as to rotate the drum; a temperature sensor that is configured to sense the temperature inside the tub; and a processor that is implemented to control drum RPM in spinning based on a preset spinning target RPM and control heat-spinning based by controlling the drive of the induction heater, wherein the processor controls the drive of the induction heater by setting a heating target temperature that is raised by the drive of the induction heater to be higher as the preset spinning target RPM is set to be lower.

WASHING MACHINE AND STEAM WASHING METHOD THEREOF

A washing machine and a steam washing method. In order to enable the washing machine to meet a user's demand for refined washing and to achieve the object of reducing washing machine costs and energy consumption, the steam washing method includes: receiving an initial washing program of the washing machine; determining whether a steam washing instruction is received; and if not, performing a corresponding initial washing operation according to the initial washing program, and if so, configuring at least one steam washing program based on the initial washing program, where the washing machine can perform the corresponding steam washing operation according to the steam washing program. The method heats a minimum amount of water each time to generate steam, and determines whether a second heating is performed to generate steam based on the washing effect, so massive heating is avoided if much steam is unnecessary, thus maximizing energy savings.
