The laundry machine also includes a motor that is configured to rotate the drum, a temperature sensor that is configured to sense the temperature inside the tub, an instantaneous power output unit configured to calculate and output an instantaneous output, and a processor that controls drum rotation speed and heat-spinning by controlling the induction heater. The processor may control the output of the induction hater to be variable based on the output of the instantaneous power output unit.

Responsive to the requested cycle and the previous cycle being different cycle types, or responsive to the historical information for the previous cycle indicating negative user feedback that the dryness of the load was incorrect, apply the cycle modifiers corresponding to the requested cycle, operate the clothes dryer, and solicit further user feedback with respect to the cycle of operation of the clothes dryer to update cycle modifiers for use in future cycles of the same cycle of operation.
