Laundry treating apparatus and method for controlling laundry treating apparatus
The present invention relates to an laundry treating apparatus comprising: a tub providing a space for storing water; a drum rotatably provided inside the tub and providing a space for storing clothes; a detergent box provided outside of the tub and providing a space for storing detergent, and receiving water from only the tub; tub penetrating holes provided while penetrating the inner peripheral surface of the tub; and a connecting part of which one side communicates with the tub penetrating holes and the other side communicates with the detergent box so as to allow at least a portion of the water moving in a direction of the inner peripheral surface of the tub by a centrifugal force generated during rotation of the drum, to flow into the detergent box, and mix the same with the detergent and discharge the same back to the inner peripheral surface of the tub.
OZONE LAUNDRY SYSTEM
A water ozonation system (18) that receives source water (16) from a water source (14) and converts it to ozonated water (20) for use in a washing machine (12) includes a system body (30), an ozone generator (38), a sensor assembly (21), and a controller (46). The system body (30) receives the source water (16) from the water source (14). The ozone generator (38) is configured to generate ozone. The ozone generator (38) is coupled the system body (30). The sensor assembly (21) is also coupled to the system body (30). The sensor assembly (21) is configured to sense at least one ambient environmental condition and generate at least one electronic data signal based on the sensed at least one ambient environmental condition. The controller (46) receives the at least one electronic data signal from the sensor assembly (21) and regulates a level of ozone that is generated by the ozone generator (38) based at least in part on the at least one electronic data signal.
Laundry treating apparatus and water supply control method thereof
A laundry treating apparatus includes a cabinet, a water tub, a detergent box, a main passage having a main valve and connected to the detergent box, a pre-passage having a pre-valve and connected to the detergent box, and a controller. The controller is configured to perform a method including a first main-continuous supply process of continuously supplying wash water by opening the main valve, a pre-continuous supply process of continuously supplying wash water by opening the pre-valve, and a second main-continuously supply process of continuously supplying wash water by opening the main valve. The controller controls each of the main valve and the pre-valve to supply wash water to the detergent box through the first main-continuously supply process, the pre-continuous supply process, and the second main-continuous supply process. The apparatus and method may reduce or remove a detergent residue in the detergent box.
LAUNDRY TREATING APPARATUS
A laundry treating apparatus includes a cabinet having a detergent opening defined a front surface thereof, a tub located inside the cabinet, a drum rotatably disposed inside the tub, and a storage for storing detergent to be supplied to the tub therein. The storage is retracted into or extended out of the cabinet through the detergent opening. The storage includes a storage frame having a detergent storage space defined therein for storing the detergent therein, where a top surface of the storage frame is opened such that the detergent storage space is opened, a cover seat portion formed on the storage frame and formed along a perimeter of the detergent storage space, and a cover detachably coupled to the cover seat portion to shield at least a portion of an open top surface of the detergent storage space.
Cold temperature sanitizing rinse in a washing machine appliance
A washing machine appliance has a drum positioned within a tub. The drum defines a wash chamber for receipt of articles for washing and sanitizing. A method of operating the washing machine appliance includes, in a rinse cycle, filling the tub with a cold water rinse volume to a predetermined fill level, adding a volume of sanitizing additive to the tub, and performing an agitation cycle for a predetermined time period. The first cold water rinse volume and the sanitizing additive are mixed during the first agitation cycle to form a sanitizing liquor. The rinse cycle further includes draining the sanitizing liquor from the tub after performing the agitation cycle and performing an extraction cycle after draining the sanitizing liquor from the tub. As a result, the washing machine appliance and articles therein are sanitized.
Additive dispensing for washing machine appliances
Additive dispensing, as provided herein, may include opening a water supply valve for a first index according to a predetermined fill index and directing a wash additive from an additive dispenser to a water supply conduit during an additive segment. The method may also include blocking the wash additive from the additive dispenser to the water supply conduit during a non-additive segment, detecting a fluid level within a wash tub following the first index, and comparing the detected fluid level to a target fluid level. The method may further include opening the water supply valve for a second index based on comparing the detected fluid level within the wash tub to the target fluid level, directing the wash additive from the additive dispenser to the water supply conduit during an additive segment, and blocking the wash additive from the additive dispenser to the water supply conduit during a non-additive segment.
LAUNDRY TREATING APPARATUS
A laundry treating apparatus is provided, which includes a laundry treating drum, and further includes a water supply valve, a water container member, an atomizer and a driving board. The water supply valve is connected to the atomizer by the water container member. An outlet of the atomizer is disposed toward an inner cavity of the laundry treating drum. A container structure is disposed on the water container member. The driving board is disposed in the container structure and is communicatively connected with the atomizer. The laundry treating apparatus can reduce manufacturing difficulty of a laundry treating apparatus having an atomizer, such that the laundry treating apparatus can fully utilize the atomization function of the atomizer.
