The control unit has instructions that, when executed: cause the valves to supply the first volume of liquid to the soaking chamber, allow the first volume of liquid to reside in the soaking chamber for a predetermined amount of time, and subsequently release the first quantity of liquid from the soaking chamber to the tub supply pipe.
LAUNDRY TREATING APPLIANCE HAVING A WASH WATER TREATING ASSEMBLY
A laundry treating appliance includes a cabinet defining an interior. A rotatable treating chamber is located within the interior. A liquid recirculation system is fluidly coupled with the rotatable treating chamber. A liquid treating assembly is fluidly coupled with the liquid recirculation system. The liquid treating assembly includes a processing tank at least partially defining a liquid treating chamber configured to receive dirty wash water supplied from the liquid recirculation system for liquid treatment.
WASHING MACHINE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A washing machine includes a tub for accommodating a drum; a water supplier configured to supply water to the tub; a turbidity sensor configured to detect turbidity of water in the tub: a circulation bubble device configured to perform a circulation operation of circulating water in the tub and resupplying it to the tub or a bubble supply operation of generating bubbles and supplying them to the tub; and a controller configured to perform a first rinsing cycle when the turbidity of the water in the tub is higher than a first reference value, and control the water supplier so that water containing a softener is supplied to the tub and perform a second rinsing cycle by controlling the circulation bubble device to alternately perform the circulation operation and the bubble supply operation when the turbidity of the water in the tub is lower than the first reference value.
WASHING APPARATUS CAPABLE OF ADJUSTING OPERATION BASED ON ADDITIONAL LAUNDRY AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME
Provided are a washing apparatus that is capable of being operated in an Internet of Things (IoT) environment over a 5G communication network and estimating additional laundry that is introduced and the amount of detergent that is additionally introduced based thereon through a neural network model generated based on machine learning, and a method of controlling the same.
WASHING MACHINE, CONTROL METHOD OF WASHING MACHINE AND SERVER FOR SUPPORTING WASHING
Disclosed is a washing machine that performs a washing process in response to a type of a contaminant in laundry in a 5G environment, a method for controlling a washing machine, and a server for supporting washing. The washing machine according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may include a processor, a memory operably coupled to the processor and for storing at least one code executed in the processor, and a driver for controlling rotation of an inner tub so as to perform a washing operation on laundry. The memory may store a code to, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to identify a type of a contaminant in the laundry, determine a first washing process corresponding to the type of the contaminant, and control the driver based on the first washing process.
SUSTAINABLE METHODS AND DEVICES FOR AUTOMATED DOSING OF A LAUNDRY PRODUCT
A laundry system for dispensing one or more ingredient compositions from ingredient reservoirs for supplying to a washing machine drum, the laundry system comprising: (i) an apparatus which comprises a dispensing device and multiple ingredient reservoirs; (ii) said multiple ingredient reservoirs comprising a recycled material and containing the various ingredient compositions in controllable fluid communication with the dispensing device and each ingredient reservoir comprising at least one ingredient reservoir identifier; (iii) said dispensing device being operable to selectively dispense portions of the ingredient compositions from respective ingredient reservoirs as a result of commands by the user to provide a dose of laundry product, and further comprising (iv) an ingredient reservoir control system for controlling said selective dispensing of respective ingredient compositions from specific ingredient reservoirs identified by respective ingredient reservoir identifiers such that the device can selectively dispense ingredient compositions from one or more identified ingredient reservoirs wherein the or each ingredient reservoir identifier comprises a data carrier for storing data regarding the condition of the ingredient reservoir and the ingredient reservoir control system is operative to modify the data stored on the data carrier.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ASCERTAINING A TREATMENT PARAMETER OF A TEXTILE USING AN IMPURITY COMPOSITION AND A TEXTILE PROPERTY
In particular, a method performed by one or more devices is disclosed, the method comprising: obtaining a first intensity information item (210) representative of a spectral image (208) resulting from an soiling (202, 302) of a textile (200, 304); obtaining a second intensity information item (212, 214) representative of a spectral image (216) characteristic of at least one property of at least one part of the textile (200, 304); determining at least one treatment parameter, wherein the determination of the treatment parameter takes place dependent both on the composition of the soiling (202, 302) from the first intensity information item (210) and on the at least one property of at least the part of the textile (200, 304) from the second Intensity information item (212, 214); and outputting or triggering an outputting of the at least one treatment parameter.
Detergent box and laundry treating apparatus including same
A laundry treating apparatus includes: a tub providing a space for storing water; a drum disposed in the tub in a rotatable manner to provide a space for storing clothing; a detergent box which is disposed outside the tub to provide a space for storing a detergent, and receives supply of water only from the tub; a tub through-hole passing through an inner circumferential surface of the tub; and a connection part having one side communicating with the tub through-hole and the other side communicating with the detergent box so that at least a portion of water moving in the direction of the inner circumferential surface of the tub due to a centrifugal force generated when the drum rotates is introduced into the detergent box, mixed with the detergent, and then discharged back to the inner circumferential surface of the tub again.
LAUNDRY TREATING APPLIANCE FOR DRYING LAUNDRY
