APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING TREATING CHEMISTRY IN A LAUNDRY TREATING APPLIANCE DISPENSING ASSEMBLY
A laundry treating appliance comprising a dispensing assembly which can identify laundry treating chemistry filled in a loading cup by way of a material sensor, and supplying said laundry treating chemistry to a proper corresponding bulk reservoir.
Home appliance, home appliance system and method of controlling home appliance
Disclosed is a home appliance system including a home appliance and a mobile terminal. The home appliance includes a tag unit, a communication unit, a memory, a display unit, an input unit, a drive control unit and a controller to control general operations of the home appliance, the home appliance including a washing machine. The mobile terminal includes a communication unit, a storage unit, a display unit, an input unit, a speaker and a terminal controller.
LAUNDRY LOAD SOIL LEVEL DETECTION SYSTEM
A laundry washing machine and method of operating same for the purpose of automatically determining a soil level of a laundry load from two turbidity readings taken before a washing cycle commences, such as during a pre-wash, filling phase. The machine is configured to detect a load size, add a first amount of water and take a first turbidity reading. A first dose of detergent is then added, a second amount of water added and the wetted load is gently tumbled/agitated before taking a second turbidity reading. A value based upon a ratio of the turbidity readings can determine the soil level of the load in order to choose a wash-related parameter, such as how much detergent to use for the subsequent complete wash cycle and/or the duration thereof.
APPARATUS FOR DOSING DETERGENT, CONTAINER FOR RECEIVING AND DOSING POWDER DETERGENT AND/OR LIQUID DETERGENT, AND CORRESPONDING SYSTEM
A device (1) for dosing detergent, in particular powder detergent, is shown and described, comprising a housing (3) with at least one first receiving area (5), wherein the at least one first receiving area (5) is designed to receive a first container (9) for a detergent, a dosing device (29) for dosing the detergent, wherein the dosing device (29) has a dosing setting for dosing detergent which depends on a determined weight of laundry to be washed, wherein the first receiving region (5) has a dosing device receiving region (27) for receiving the dosing device (29), and wherein an actuating and/or driving device (39) for the dosing device (29) is arranged in the dosing device receiving region (27).
Method for controlling release amount of detergent, and washing machine
A method for controlling release amount of detergent and a washing device, include: dividing inner space of a detergent box into independent N compartments, wherein each of the compartments is configured to store a type of detergent having a certain concentration range; assigning a concentration level Ci, i=1, . . . , N to each of the compartments wherein the higher the detergent concentration, the lower the concentration level; selecting one of the compartments containing detergent and releasing the detergent in the selected compartment, and obtaining the concentration level C of the selected compartment; obtaining a laundry weight m; and calculating a release amount of the detergent, wherein Vn=1.25*m*(C+1). The formula which is configured to calculate the release amount of detergent is also provided based on both of the detergent concentration level and the laundry weight. Hence, the problem of excess foaming and residue caused by putting too much concentrated detergents which have to introduce more rinsing cycles could be effectively solved.
Laundry treating appliance with remotely controlled airflow and method of operating the same
The souring of wet laundry in a laundry treating appliance may be retarded by sending an alert signal indicative of an ending of a cycle of operation from the laundry treating appliance to a remote electronic device. The appliance may receive an authorization signal from the electronic device indicative of an instruction to execute an anti-sour cycle. An anti-sour cycle comprising the energizing of a fan to flow air through a laundry treating chamber may be automatically initiated for the laundry treating appliance.
CONTROL METHOD FOR CLOTHING TREATMENT APPARATUS
A control method for a clothing treatment apparatus. The clothing treatment apparatus includes an air washing device for performing air washing on clothing. The control method includes: obtaining the material of clothing; obtaining the type of a clothing detergent; obtaining the type of a stain on the clothing; and determining a parametric range of air washing according to the material of the clothing, the type of the clothing detergent, and the type of the stain on the clothing. The embodiments allow clothing to be subjected to air washing treatment within an optical parametric range, i.e., a detergent can exert an activation function to the greatest extent, and also allows a stain to be removed and cleaned within the most suitable parametric range to improve the clothing decontamination capability, thereby improving a clothing treatment effect and improving user experience.
LAUNDRY APPLIANCE COMPRISING A DRAWER POSITION DETECTING SYSTEM
A laundry appliance having a cabinet accommodating a laundry treatment chamber, a storage drawer comprising at least one compartment for containing laundry treatment agent and a drawer seat slidingly housing the storage drawer such that the storage drawer is slidable between a retracted position, in which the storage drawer is retracted inside the drawer seat, and an extracted position, in which the storage drawer is at least partially extracted from the drawer seat. The laundry appliance further comprises a drawer position detecting system for detecting when the drawer is in the retracted position. The drawer position detecting system comprises a target element on one of the cabinet and the drawer, and a sensor element on the other of the cabinet and the drawer. The detecting system is configured to sense a proximity of the target element to the sensor element.
HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE HAVING A PHYSICAL ALTERATION ELEMENT
A household appliance for treating at least one item according to at least one cycle of operation includes a treating chamber for receiving the at least one item for treatment according to the at least one cycle of operation, a treating chemistry dispenser receiving a unit dose container having an electrically conductive element, a physical alteration element located proximate to the treating chemistry dispenser and operable to physically alter at least a portion of the electrically conductive element and a sensor for sensing the physical alteration.
Use of external information in the operation of a household device
The present disclosure concerns a method for operating or controlling an operation of a household appliance (100, 300) performed by at least one device (100, 200, 300, 400). The method includes: obtaining external information representative of at least one external given situation outside the household appliance (100, 300); and operating or controlling an operation of the household appliance (100, 300) at least taking into account the external information obtained. In addition, the present disclosure concerns a device and a system for performing such a method.
