TRAVEL CYCLE FOR A COMBINATION WASHER AND DRYER APPLIANCE
A laundry appliance and a method of operating the same are provided. In one aspect, the laundry appliance includes a laundry basket rotatably mounted within a tub that defines a chamber that is in fluid communication with a conditioning system of the laundry appliance that circulates heated air through the chamber. A controller is configured to receive a command to initiate an appliance travel cycle and implement a responsive action to prepare the laundry appliance for travel. The responsive action may be the automated adjustment of one or more operating parameters of the laundry appliance, such as performing a load sensing procedure, rinsing and/or drying the chamber, closing the water supply valves, etc. In addition, the responsive action may include providing a user instruction to prepare the laundry appliance, e.g., by cleaning the lint filter, emptying the condensate collection tank, removing hoses and cables, addressing any error codes, etc.
Laundry appliance
A laundry appliance includes a cabinet defining a front opening in a front panel. The front opening is defined by a lip having a curved edge. The lip defines a plurality of apertures spaced-apart around the front opening. A tub is disposed within the cabinet. The tub defines an access opening aligned with the front opening. A drum is disposed within the tub. A bellows assembly extends between the cabinet and the tub. The bellows assembly includes a projection coupled to the curved edge of the cabinet. A deflector has a rim and a chute wherein the chute extends toward the drum. The rim is configured to snap-fit over the projection of the bellows assembly. The rim includes a plurality of hooks where each hook is configured to extend through an aperture and interlock with the cabinet.
HINGE SYSTEM FOR TOUCHLESS COMMERCIAL APPLIANCES
A contactless laundry treating apparatus may include a cabinet having a front panel defining an access opening configured to receive laundry items, door attached to the front panel via a hinge assembly, where the hinge assembly may include a hydraulic system arranged on an interior of the front panel within the cabinet configured to engage with a connecting hook arranged within the door to selectively apply an outward force on the connecting hook to open the door and an inward force on the connecting hook to close the door.
Drum washing machine and control method for opening a door of the drum washing machine during running
A drum washing machine and a control method for opening a door of the drum washing machine during running are provided. The control method comprises the following steps: S1, receiving a door opening instruction sent by a user; S2, judging whether a water level at a front end of a drum assembly of the drum washing machine satisfies a condition of opening the door, if yes, entering step S4, if no, entering step S3; S3, tilting the drum assembly with a tilting mechanism, and then returning to step S2; and S4, unlocking a door lock. Through a manner of lifting a front end of the drum assembly, the operation of opening the door during running is realized. In this way, the original parts of the washing machine do not need to be changed.
Clothing treatment apparatus and controlling method thereof
A clothing treatment apparatus and method thereof is provided. The clothing treatment apparatus according to an embodiment includes a main body formed with a space to accommodate clothing, a sprayer disposed inside the main body and configured to spray at least one of steam or air toward the clothing while the clothing is accommodated in the space, and a door connectable to the main body to open and close the space, wherein the door includes a first inlet to allow air from an outside to flow, a second inlet connectable to the first inlet and through which the air from the first inlet flows to the space while the second inlet is connected to the first inlet, and a shutter configured to selectively move toward the second inlet to close the second inlet and move away from the second inlet to open the second inlet.
Autonomous Laundry Washing and Drying Devices, Systems, and Methods of Use
An autonomously actuated washing and drying device includes a rigid frame configured to pivot about a pivot shaft, a combined washing and drying tub and drum assembly suspended within the frame, and a controller in operable communication with a pivot motor for rotating the pivot shaft and a drive motor for spinning the drum. The pivot shaft is configured to rotate the frame from an upright orientation to an inverted orientation. The controller is configured to instruct the pivot motor to rotate the frame to the upright orientation for receiving at least one deformable article into an opening of the drum, and rotate the frame to a wash orientation between the upright orientation and inverted orientation. The controller is configured to execute a washing and drying routine based on parameters including instructing the drive motor to spin the drum about a drive axis at the wash orientation.
CONTROL METHOD OF A WASHING MACHINE, AND WASHING MACHINE
A washing machine has a remote control function, and the control method comprises: after a washing procedure is finished, judging whether a remote control function is in an open state. If the judgment is yes, controlling a lock to keep a locked state, and executing a standby process for a time duration of t1, and if the judgment is no, controlling the lock to open, and executing a standby process for a time duration of t2, wherein t1≥t2; preferably, t1>t2. After a washing procedure is finished, the waiting time of a washing machine when the remote control function is in an open state is longer than the waiting time of a washing machine when the remote control function is in a closed state, thereby effectively preventing a remote controller from missing further control of a washing machine in a standby process.
Auxiliary power source for a washing machine
Washing machine (1) having a method for powering it in the event of a power supply failure, wherein said washing machine (1) comprises: a drum, an opening with a water-tight door, a water inlet, at least one electronic control unit (5) and an auxiliary power source (3), wherein when the control unit (5) detects a power supply failure the washing machine (1) switches powering means from a main external power source (2) to said auxiliary power source (3) through the use of a switch (4). The auxiliary power source (3) supplies energy to the control unit (5) for a limited amount of time in order for the control unit (5) to execute one or more sets of pre-established actions according to data obtained by different sensors (6, 7).
Garment care device
The present disclosure relates to a garment care device. The garment care device may include a housing and a garment bag. The garment bag can be disposed around a frame and attached to the housing. The garment bag can receive air along a first air flow from the housing and a mixture of steam and a chemical in a second air flow from the housing during a freshening process. A safety puck can engage to a fastener allowing for opening and secure closure of the garment bag and magnetically engage to an interface.
Door-Lock For Home Appliances
A door-lock for a home appliance is provided. The door-lock has a cam that cooperates with a hook and can rotate between two end positions and an intermediate hook holding position. A locking slider cooperates with the cam to lock it and an actuator-controlled locking pin can lock the locking slider. A switch is switchable between open and closed positions, respectively corresponding to the unlocking and locking positions of the locking pin. A cam support carries a trigger element and/or base plate and has a stop that locks the locking slider. A portion of the cam disengages the trigger element from the locking slider when the cam is in an end position opposite a hook release position. The locking slider can rotate beyond the cam locking position to push the locking pin toward the unlocking position with a protrusion when the trigger element is disengaged from the locking slider.
