CONTROL METHOD FOR CLOTHES DRYING APPARATUS
A control method for a clothes drying apparatus that aims to solve the problem of a load being prone to entangling when an existing clothes drying apparatus is used for drying a large load. For this purpose, the control method for a clothes drying apparatus includes: determining the size of a load in a load determining stage; and when the load is a large load, controlling a drying drum to rotate unidirectionally in a first heating stage, and controlling the drying drum to alternately rotate normally and reversely in a second heating stage. Accordingly, a drying effect can be guaranteed while the load is effectively prevented from being knotted and entangled, and the drying time is shortened.
LAUNDRY DRYING MACHINE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A method to control a laundry drying machine having a rotatable drum, a motor for rotating the drum, and a hot air generator for supplying a drying airflow to the drum. The method includes: collecting physicals quantities during an initial phase of said drying cycle, performing an estimation of polynomial coefficients of a cubic polynomial model indicative of an estimated change of a laundry moisture value over the time based on respective linear polynomial models comprising the collected physicals quantities, performing an estimation of the laundry moisture value by the cubic polynomial model based on the estimated polynomial coefficients, and controlling the motor and hot air generator during a drying cycle, based on one or more physicals quantities associated with the drum loaded with laundry, the electric motor and the hot air generator.

An information processing method includes: selecting M blocks as M selected blocks from among N blocks for driving at least one of an actuator or a heater included in an apparatus, in accordance with an input operation performed by an operator; generating an application, by setting the order of the M selected blocks in accordance with an input operation performed by the operator; consulting a rule that prohibits two or more given blocks from being executed in a given order, and when information included in the application that indicates the order of the M selected blocks correlates with the given order, modifying the application by changing the order in which each of the M selected blocks is executed; and outputting the modified application.

The present disclosure relates to an artificial intelligence (AI) dryer. The AI dryer according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a casing; a washing tub disposed in the casing; a motor configured to rotate the washing tub; a driver configured to drive the motor and including an output current detector for detecting an output current flowing through the motor; a heat supplier configured to supply heat to the washing tub; and a controller configured to control the driver, wherein the controller performs learning using DNN based on the output current detected by the output current detector, determines a load of laundry in the washing tub by the learning, and determines operation course information based on information of load of the laundry, thereby providing optimal operation course information corresponding to the information of load of the laundry.
METHOD FOR IMPROVED TUMBLING OF CLOTHES IN A WASHING MACHINE APPLIANCE
A method of operating a washing appliance includes obtaining images of a wash chamber using a camera assembly while the wash basket is tumbling a load of clothes positioned therein. The one or more images are analyzed using a machine learning image recognition process to determine a tumble condition of the load of clothes in the wash basket, e.g., whether the clothes are tumbling in the wash basket in a manner that generates suitable mechanical washing action. The motor assembly is then used to adjust a basket speed based at least in part on determining that the tumble condition deviates from a target tumble condition.

A laundry treating apparatus includes a cabinet; a laundry receiving space defined in the cabinet and configured for receiving laundry therein; an insertion opening defined in a front face of the cabinet and in fluid communication with the laundry receiving space; a door rotatably fixed to the cabinet to open and close the insertion opening; a supply unit configured to supply at least one of air or water vapor to the laundry receiving space; a support assembly provided in the laundry receiving space and configured to support the laundry; and a conveying part configured to move the support assembly toward the insertion opening when the door opens the insertion opening.
AUTONOMOUS LAUNDRY WASHING AND DRYING DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS OF USE
An autonomous system for washing and drying household laundry includes a plurality of autonomous combination washer and dryers each including a perforated drum disposed within a tub mated thereto at a drive end opposite an opening. A first air orifice is disposed through the tub. A detachable door includes a second air orifice configured to receive an air conduit such that air flows through the first and second air orifices during a drying cycle while the door seals the opening. A controller is configured to instruct a drive motor to spin the drum about a spin axis extending between the drive end and the opening. A driven carrier in operable communication with the controller slides along a raised rail disposed adjacent the plurality autonomous combination washer and dryers and retrieves, holds, and reseats a door in an opening of one of the plurality of autonomous combination washer and dryers.
Laundry treating apparatus having induction heater and control method thereof
Disclosed are an object treating apparatus, and more particularly, an object treating apparatus for heating a drum using an induction heater and a control method thereof. The object treating apparatus includes a tub; a drum rotatably disposed within the tub and accommodating an object therein; an induction heater disposed on the tub and configured to heat an outer circumferential face of the drum contacting the heater; a motor to rotate the drum; and a processor configured to control an operation of the induction heater to dry the object, wherein the processor is configured to: control revolution per minute (RPM) of the drum to perform at least two drum motions having at least two different target RPMs respectively when drying the object.

A laundry washing machine having configured to receive a laundry cycle selection from a user interface; identify the cycle selection; upon receiving a normal laundry cycle selection, select a respective program comprising default instructions for: opening the valve one or more times to fill the drum to a default normal maintenance phase liquid level, and operating the drum motor during a normal maintenance phase to rotate the drum; and upon receiving a selection of the whites laundry cycle, select a respective program comprising default instructions for: opening the valve one or more times to fill the drum to a default whites maintenance phase liquid level, and operating the drum motor during a whites maintenance phase to cyclically rotate the drum. The default whites maintenance phase liquid level is equal to or less than the default normal maintenance phase liquid level. Methods of operating a laundry machine are also provided.
Washing apparatus
A washing apparatus is provided. The washing apparatus includes a tub, a drum configured to be rotatable in the tub, a pulsator configured to be rotatable in the drum, a driver configured to drive the drum and the pulsator, and a controller configured to control the driver to rotate the pulsator to a second direction while rotating the drum to a first direction. The controller controls the driver to drive the pulsator based on a position of laundry accommodated in the drum during a rotation of the drum.
