The laundry machine may include a tub, a drum rotatably arranged in the tub to accommodate an object and provided with a through hole on an outer circumferential surface thereof, a steam induction heater provided at a front upper portion of a front wall or a rear upper portion of a rear wall of the tub to heat a heating surface of the drum facing the steam induction heater, a motor driven to rotate the drum, a spray nozzle configured to spray water onto the heating surface facing the steam induction heater to generate steam, and a processor configured to rotate the drum to introduce the steam into the drum through the through hole in a space between the tub and the drum.
Clothing treatment apparatus
A clothing treatment apparatus according to the present disclosure includes a cabinet which forms a treatment space for accommodating clothing, a duct in which an inside air channel which sucks inside air from the treatment space and guides the inside air to discharge the inside air to the treatment space, and an outside air channel which sucks outside air from an outer space of the cabinet and guides the outside air to discharge the outside air to the treatment space are preset, a fan which moves air in the duct, and (i) an opening and closing module which is operated to change whether or not a through-channel including at least one of an outside air inlet channel between the outer space and the outside air channel and (ii) an exhaust outlet channel between the treatment space and the outer space is blocked.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REMOTE MONITORING AND CONTROL OF A LAUNDRY APPLIANCE
A laundry appliance, such as a washing machine or dryer appliance, includes a basket that is rotatably mounted within a tub and that defines a chamber for receiving a load of clothes. A camera assembly is mounted within the tub for taking images of the load of clothes and a controller is operably coupled to the camera assembly for determining that a limited access mode is activated, receiving a start command for an operating cycle, obtaining and transmitting images or a live stream of the chamber to a remote device, and receiving user input related to a responsive action, such as a cycle authorization or operating parameter adjustment.
Laundry appliances cold water sanitization
A laundry appliance includes a cabinet defining an opening with a laundry vessel mounted within the cabinet. The laundry vessel defines a treatment chamber. The laundry appliance also includes an electrolytic hypochlorous acid generator upstream of the treatment chamber with respect to a flow of cold water through the laundry appliance and a controller. The controller may be configured for and/or a method of sanitizing the laundry appliance may include opening a valve upstream of the electrolytic hypochlorous acid generator to provide the flow of cold water through the laundry appliance, confirming the presence of the cold water in the laundry appliance after opening the valve, and activating the electrolytic hypochlorous acid generator after confirming the presence of the cold water in the laundry appliance.
WASHING APPARATUS AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF
A method for controlling a washing apparatus including a power supply device is provided. The method includes controlling driving of a motor in a normal washing mode, determining temperature of the power supply device, controlling driving of the motor in an overheating prevention mode for reducing power consumption by the motor, when the temperature of the power supply device is equal to or higher than a first temperature, and repeating the driving in the overheating prevention mode multiple times such that the temperature of the power supply device is below a second temperature lower than the first temperature, wherein the repeating of the driving in the overheating prevention mode multiple times comprises controlling driving of a heater for heating washing water such that power consumption by the heater increases, when a number of times of driving in the overheating prevention mode is greater than a predetermined value.
Artificial intelligence-based clothing managing apparatus
The present invention relates to an artificial intelligence-based clothing management apparatus for receiving clothes in a hung state and treating the clothes, and a control method thereof. The apparatus may include an clothing containing portion disposed in a cabinet for receiving clothing to be treated in a hung manner; a camera to generate image information of the clothing contained in the clothing containing portion; a user interface configured to receive treatment information of the clothing from a user; and a processor configured to: obtain a learning result from a learning operation using image information previously acquired using the camera and treatment information previously acquired from the user interface; and process image information currently acquired using the camera with respect to the learning result, thereby to generate and set current treatment information; and control the apparatus to treat the clothing based on the set current treatment information.
Clothes treating device
A clothes treating device includes: a cabinet; a tub having an inlet at an upper part; a drum provided inside the tub and having a through-hole on a bottom surface thereof; a stirring part rotatably disposed in through-hole; a driving part provided on the lower part of the stirring part so as to provide power for rotating the stirring part and/or the drum; and a coupling provided between the stirring part and the driving part so as to be rotated by the power, and provided so as to rotate the stirring part and the drum in different directions or rotate only the stirring part when a water level of the tub is greater than or equal to a certain water level, and to rotate the stirring part and the drum in the same direction when the water level is less than to the certain water level.
