A device for processing a flexible sheet includes a worktop for placement thereon of a flexible sheet to be processed. A processing device is provided above the worktop and a positioning device is provided for positioning the processing device on the flexible sheet and moving it along a straight processing line in the plane of the flexible sheet. The device also includes orientation device for setting the orientation of the processing line as desired.

The marking composition comprises an infrared-absorbing particulate component and carbon derivative, wherein the weight ratio of infrared-absorbing component to carbon derivative is in the range of approx.. 10:1 to approx.. 10,000:1.

The woven labels with the fusible thermo-adhesive heat seal yarns may be affixed to the desired garments through an automated process by applying heat to the woven labels, thereby activating the fusible thermo-adhesive heat seal yarns, causing the woven label to become affixed to the desired garment. Such a method, system and apparatus can make the garment manufacturing process and woven label application process more efficient, eliminate waste, enhance visual appeal of the final garment product, and reduce manufacturing costs, among other advantages.
