Cutting table for cutting a fiber preform obtained by three-dimensional weaving, and a cutting method using such a table
A cutting table for cutting out a fiber preform obtained by three-dimensional weaving and having two portions that are connected together by at least one zone of non-interlinking and that present outlines of different shapes, includes a tabletop provided with a recess for receiving one of the portions of the fiber preform to be cut out. The fiber preform is capable of laying flat in the access. The cutting table further includes sacrificial plates for interposing between the portions of the fiber preform for cutting out and for being fastened to the tabletop. The sacrificial plates are capable of covering partially the recess of the tabletop while being fastened to the tabletop. The cutting table also includes a cutting template configured to be pressed against a portion of the fiber preform that is positioned outside of the recess, and a device for applying compacting pressure against the cutting template.

Quilting template
A template, such as a quilting template, is configured as a relatively thin piece of material having a first circular portion disposed at a first end of the template and a second circular portion disposed at a second end of the template. The template further includes a concave curve portion disposed between the first end and the second end along a first side edge of the template, a linear curve portion disposed between the first end and the second end along a second side edge of the template, and a set of guide markings. In use, a user can utilize the template to cut, for example, heart-shaped, flower-shaped, or leave-shaped elements, from a piece of material. With such a configuration, the template allows the user to cut a variety of differently sized and shaped elements directly from the material, without requiring the creation of multiple patterns.

Removal device for automatically removing flexible material parts, method for removing flexible material parts, and production system comprising a conveyor device and a removal device
The invention relates to a removal device for removing flexible material parts. The removal device removes at least one pliable material part from a conveyor device. A receiver is movable to a removal position via a conveyor device and contacts a region of the pliable material part to be removed. The receiver winds up part of the pliable material to be removed. The orientation of a winding device or the receiver may be pivoted and the winding device can be moved to a depositing position.
