Reduced salt precipitation in carbohydrate containing binder compositions
Aqueous binder compositions with reduced rates of salt precipitation are described. The compositions may include a carbohydrate and a sequestrant for sequestering one or more multivalent ions (e.g., Ca.sup.2+, Mg.sup.2+, Ba.sup.2+, Al.sup.3+, Fe.sup.2+, Fe.sup.3+, etc.). The sequestrant reduces a precipitation rate for the multivalent ions from the aqueous binder composition. Methods of reducing salt precipitation from a binder composition are also described. The methods may include the steps of providing an aqueous binder solution having one or more carbohydrates. They may also include adding a sequestrant for one or more multivalent ions to the aqueous binder solution. The sequestrant reduces a precipitation rate for the multivalent ions from the binder composition.
TWISTED YARN, OPENED YARN, CARBON FIBER-COVERED TWISTED YARN, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THESE
The present invention relates to twisted yarn (P) obtained by twisting a plurality of carbon fiber resins which are slit from a carbon fiber resin tape (F2), open yarn obtained by S-twisting and Z-twisting covering yarn (C) around the periphery of the twisted yarn (P), carbon fiber covered twisted yarn obtained by winding the twisted yarn around the periphery of a core material, and methods for manufacturing thereof.

Method for coating a fibrous web, and a surface coated fibrous web
A method is provided for coating a fibrous web, in particular a fibrous web comprising nanocellulose fibres. The method includes steps of applying a coating agent to a textured surface region of a textured substrate, applying a fibre furnish or a wet fibrous web onto the coated textured surface region of the textured substrate, optionally dewatering to provide a wet fibrous web, and drying said wet fibrous web such that at least a portion of said coating agent is transferred to said fibrous web. The method provides a coated fibrous web with improved barrier properties.

BIOFLAVONOID COATED MATERIALS
Polymeric materials are described which have a bioflavonoid coating, the bioflavonoid content of the coating comprising at least naringin and neohesperidin. The use of such coated polymeric materials is also described as well as the process for making the coated polymeric materials.
