PERFORMANCE GEAR, TEXTILE TECHNOLOGY, AND CLEANING AND PROTECTING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A cleaning system for all laundry, high performance textiles, and sports gear, which includes a washing agent and a protective agent. The washing agent is configured to remove unwanted matter from the high performance textiles, sports gear, and/or other laundry. The protective agent is configured to create a bonded barrier comprising organosilane antimicrobial(s) on the high performance textiles, sports gear, and/or other laundry for protection against odors from bacteria, mold and mildew and/or the like. The washing agent and the protective agent are configured to be used in a two-step water-based treatment process in which the washing agent is provided in a given first step of the treatment process and the protective agent is provided in a given subsequent second step of the treatment process.
Polypeptides
The present invention relates to novel polypeptides having nuclease activity and the use and methods for preventing or reducing creases of a fabric; a composition comprising such polypeptide. The invention further related to polynucleotide encoding polypeptides having nuclease activity.
Method for Manufacturing Fabric with High-efficiency and High-precision Flat Screen and Digital Printed Patterns with Energy Saving and Emission-reduction Effect
A method for manufacturing fabric with flat screen and digital printed patterns includes: singeing, pretreatment, flat screen scraping sizing, drying, pattern printing, humidification, steaming treatment, washing, and non-ironing and soft setting. The pretreatment is a biological enzyme pretreatment process including: cloth feeding at 75° C., dipping, scouring and bleaching in a working fluid, heating to 90° C. for treatment of 30 minutes, draining, hot water washing and cold water washing. A shortened process flow can be realized, and the positioned sizing that uses a flat screen to scrape a sizing agent to a pattern position to be digital spray-printed on instead of traditional full-width sizing for sizing and printing, which greatly reduces the amount of sizing agent used, lowers production cost and reduces waste water pollution, and solves problem that the fabric is mottled caused by the application of sizing agent in areas without printed pattern due to full-width sizing.
Self-sterilizing fabrics incorporating anti-viral cold-active proteases
The invention provides fabrics that incorporate protease enzymes that inactivate viruses and bacteria. The fabrics of the invention may be used in the production of various items of self-sterilizing protective equipment including protective facemasks.
CORN FIBER PROCESSING SYSTEM AND WET MILLED CORN STARCH PROCESSING SYSTEM USING SAME
The embodiments of the present application provide a maize fiber processing system and a maize wet-milled starch processing system using same. The maize fiber processing system comprises a pressure curved screen group, a fiber washing sink group, an enzyme preparation adding device and an external enzyme reaction tank, wherein the external enzyme reaction tank is used for receiving screen overflow from a middle stage of pressure curved screen or fiber slurry in a middle stage of fiber washing sink and providing a place for enzyme reaction, thereby extending reaction time of enzyme participation. In addition, the reaction efficiency of the enzyme preparation can be further improved by means of controlling the fiber dry substance concentration in the external enzyme reaction tank.
Method for producing durable fluffy and soft loop fabric having embedded weft floats
A method for producing durable fluffy and soft loop fabric having embedded weft floats, including: 1) yarn selection; 2) winding; 3) warping; 4) sizing; 5) weaving; and 6) dyeing and finishing. During the weaving process, low-twist or zero-twist yarns or filament long floats are embedded into loops. During the dyeing and finishing process, due to weft-wise shrinkage, the embedded weft floats shrink and expand, thereby supporting the loops upright without lodging. In addition, the fluffy zero-twist yarns and interlaced yarn floats form a stacked stereoscopic structure with other weft yarns fixedly connected to the loops, thereby facilitating the extension of the loops and enlarging moisture diffusion surfaces of the loops during baking and air-drying processes to create a rapid drying condition for towels. Therefore, a loop fabric which has a special style and a fluffy and soft hand feeling and is still fluffy and soft after being washed is obtained.
Process for modifying the characteristics of citrus fiber
A process is disclosed for modifying citrus fiber. Citrus fiber is obtained having a c* close packing concentration value of less than 3.8 w %, anhydrous basis. The citrus fiber can have a viscosity of at least 1000 mPa.Math.s, wherein said citrus fiber is dispersed in standardized water at a mixing speed of from 800 rpm to 1000 rpm, to a 3 w/w % citrus fiber/standardized water solution, and wherein said viscosity is measured at a shear rate of 5 s-1 at 20 C. Citrus fiber can be obtained having a CIELAB L* value of at least 90. The citrus fiber can be used in food products, feed products, beverages, personal care products, pharmaceutical products or detergent products.
Modified Fibroin Fibers
The present invention provides a modified fibroin fiber having a shrinkage history of being irreversibly shrunk after spinning, the modified fibroin fiber containing modified fibroin, wherein a fiber diameter of a raw material fiber before being irreversibly shrunk exceeds 25 μm.
ENZYME-ENHANCED FABRICS THAT INACTIVATE PATHOGENS
The invention provides fabrics that incorporate enzymes that inactivate microbial pathogens, particularly enveloped viral particles such as those of Influenza virus and Coronavirus such as Covid-19. The fabrics of the invention may be used in the production of various items including protective facemasks.
