Provided is a coated fabric for airbags, comprising a coating layer disposed on at least one surface of a woven fabric directly or with one or more other layers interposed therebetween, the coating layer containing a thermally responsive foaming agent.
WATER-BASED SURFACE TREATMENT AGENT
A surface treatment agent which is an aqueous emulsion containing: (a) a fluorine-free polymer including: (i) repeating units derived from a long-chain (meth)acrylate ester monomer represented by the formula: CH.sub.2═CA.sup.11-C(═O)—O-A.sup.12, wherein A.sup.11 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and A.sup.12 is a linear or branched aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 10-30 carbon atoms; (b) a surface active agent including both of a nonionic surface active agent and an anionic surface active agent, wherein the amount of the anionic surface active agent is at least 22% by weight, based on the total of the nonionic surface active agent and the anionic surface active agent; and (c) a liquid medium comprising water.
Method for the Production of a Microporous Polymer Coated Fabric
The present inventions relates to a low solvent based method for the production of a microporous polymer coated fibrous fabric, comprising the steps of contacting the fabric with a composition dispersed in an aqueous medium thereby coating the fabric with the composition, and contacting the coated with a coagulation solution and drying of the fabric, crosslinking the polymer resin. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a cleaning cloth comprising a microporous polymer coating obtained by the method.
FLEXIBLE SHEET-LIKE MATERIAL FOR BOUNDING A MATRIX MATERIAL FEED SPACE AND METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION THEREOF
The flexible sheet-like material comprises a textile layer, which is coated at least on one side with a functional layer which is permeable to gas but impermeable to the matrix material, acting as a barrier layer for the matrix material, and is produced by coating the textile layer directly with a foam or a paste.

METHODS OF TREATING TEXTILES WITH FOAM AND RELATED PROCESSES
The present invention offers a new approach to the treatment of garments, including novel compositions and related methods using foam as a carrier of chemical products that are used during the industrial treatment of textiles. Another aspect of the invention relates to methods for reducing total water content necessary in industrial treatment of garments. Another aspect of the present invention relates to processes and methods of forming a foam that can be used for textile treatment.
AQUEOUS THERMOSETTING URETHANE COMPOUND FOR YARN COATING AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING COATED YARN USING THE SAME
This invention relates to an aqueous thermosetting urethane compound for yarn coating and a method of manufacturing coated yarn using the same, wherein the compound for yarn coating includes an aqueous thermosetting urethane resin and has pores, and specifically includes 100 parts by weight of an aqueous thermosetting urethane resin, 1.5 to 2.5 parts by weight of a thickener, and 6 to 12 parts by weight of a processing lubricant. Particularly, this invention relates to an aqueous thermosetting urethane compound for yarn coating, having pores formed using a foam mixer or a chemical foaming agent, and to a method of manufacturing coated yarn by coating the surface of yarn with the aqueous thermosetting urethane compound.
Fabric finishing
A fabric, such as a loop fastener material, is finished by applying a foam to a surface of the fabric, the foam containing both a liquid binder and a powder. The binder is allowed to flow into pores of the fabric and coat fiber interstices of the fabric as the foam collapses, and is dried to stabilize the fabric. The powder is of a particle size selected to cause most of the powder to remain on the surface of the fabric while the binder is dried to bond the powder to the fabric surface. The powder, as bonded to the fabric surface, is activatable, such as by heat or RF or UV energy, to adhere the stabilized fabric to another surface or to provide a desired surface property.
