Methods for treating textiles using polypeptides having endoglucanase activity
The present invention relates to isolated polypeptides having endoglucanase activity, catalytic domains, carbohydrate binding modules and polynucleotides encoding the polypeptides, catalytic domains or carbohydrate binding modules. The invention also relates to nucleic acid constructs, vectors, and host cells comprising the polynucleotides as well as methods of producing and using the polypeptides, catalytic domains or carbohydrate binding modules.
Silk Coated Fabrics and Products and Methods of Preparing the Same
Silk coated and/or infused performance materials, apparel, and methods of preparing the same are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, silk performance apparel includes textiles, fabrics, consumer products, and other materials that are coated with aqueous solutions of pure silk fibroin-based protein fragments having low, medium, and/or high molecular weight in various ratios.

THREAD, AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT PIECE OF A VEHICLE, FORMATION PROCESS TO MAKE A THREAD AND FABRICATION METHOD FOR MAKING A PIECE OF AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLE
A thread intended to be woven. The thread includes a core made of a polymer, and a sheath covering the core. The sheath is formed of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The thread individually presents, at 130 C., an elongation at maximal force, such as measured with the D411099 standard, greater than or equal to 20%.
Method of producing melt-anisotropic aromatic polyester multifilament
Provided is a melt-anisotropic aromatic polyester multifilament having excellent abrasion resistance. The melt-anisotropic aromatic polyester multifilament has a single fiber fineness from 10 to 80 dtex and comprises 3 to 10 wt % of a dimethylsilicone-series finishing agent applied on a fiber surface of the multifilament, based on the multifilament, the finishing agent containing a dimethylsilicone-series compound having a weight average molecular weight from 15000 to 40000.

In some embodiments, silk performance apparel includes textiles, fabrics, consumer products, and other materials that are coated with aqueous solutions of pure silk fibroin-based protein fragments having low, medium, and/or high molecular weight in various ratios.
Water-based anti-pilling fabric treatment compositions
Various aqueous anti-pilling fabric treatment compositions are described. The compositions include one or more aqueous polyurethane dispersions or one or more acrylic polymers or both and a silicone. The compositions can be used treat fabrics, textiles and articles of manufacture made therefrom to impart anti-pilling properties to the same.
Silk performance apparel and products and methods of preparing the same
Silk infused performance apparel and methods of preparing the same are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, silk performance apparel includes textiles, fabrics, consumer products, leather, and other materials that are coated with aqueous solutions of pure silk fibroin based protein fragments. In some embodiments, coated apparel products, textiles, and upholstery, as well as other materials, exhibit surprisingly improved moisture management properties, resistance to microbial growth, increased abrasion resistance, and flame resistance.
Coated microfibrous web and method for producing the same
A coated microfibrous web, a method for producing the same, the use thereof as a covering of a radiation protection material, and a radiation protection device are described. The coated microfibrous web contains: (i) a microfibrous web containing one or more polyesters and/or one or more polyamides and/or one or more polyamide-polyester copolymers and having an impregnation composition containing (a) an aromatic dicarboxylic acid, the dicarboxylic groups of which are each esterified with a diol, and/or (b) one or more oligomers, each containing 2 to 10 repeat units consisting of a monoester of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid impregnated with a diol; and (ii) a layer comprising polyurethane which is present only on one side of the microfibrous web.
WAX DISPENSER
A wax dispenser for conditioning sewing thread includes a disc-shaped housing (12) with upper and lower surfaces (14, 16), a sidewall (18), and a cavity (20). Peripheral slots (22) allow thread to engage a disc-shaped wax bar (28) within the cavity, applying wax to the thread. A dial assembly (26) in a dial opening (24) rotates the wax bar, presenting fresh wax to the slots as needed. The dial assembly includes a circular support member (32) with engagement fins (30) to secure and rotate the wax bar. The dispenser addresses wax depletion near thread feed slots, ensuring consistent thread waxing. The dispenser is primarily used for sewing thread conditioning, with polystyrene preferred for the housing and dial components.
