INTERFACING WHEELCHAIRS WITH WHEELED APPARATUSES
Devices described in this disclosure can interconnect a wheelchair with another wheeled apparatus. For example, this document describes interfacing devices that releasably receive the front wheels of a wheelchair and the rear wheels of another wheeled apparatus in such a way that a user of the wheelchair can conveniently maneuver the wheeled apparatus in conjunction with the operation of the wheelchair.
MODULAR WHEELCHAIR SYSTEM
A convertible transport system including a seat portion, a back support portion, and a pivoting mechanism coupled to the seat portion and to the back support portion. The pivoting mechanism is configured to adjust and lock the back support portion relative to the seat portion, the pivoting mechanism having three operative states: a free pivoting state allowing the back support portion to pivot relative to the seat portion about an axis; a ratcheting state allowing the back support portion to only pivot toward the seat portion about the axis; and a locking state in which the pivoting mechanism is locked to thereby prevent a pivoting movement of the back support portion relative to the seat portion.
MECHANISM FOR THE TRANSFER OF MEDICAL DEVICE TO BED RAIL
A medical device transfer system configured to transfer a medical device to a bed rail, including: a transfer assembly configured to be attached to the medical device including: a clamp latch; a cart latch; a clamp engagement element configured to engage a clamp fixture; and a cart engagement opening; and a cart engagement assembly configured to engage the transfer assembly and to connect to a cart, the cart engagement assembly comprising a transfer assembly engagement element, wherein the transfer assembly engagement element is configured to engage the cart engagement opening, wherein clamp latch is configured to lock and unlock the transfer assembly to the clamp fixture, and wherein the cart latch is configured to lock and unlock the cart engagement assembly to the transfer assembly.
Sled-Table For Radiographic Imaging And Medical Device Integration
X-ray procedure tables with improved structural strength that enable radiation shielding and integrated medical device and monitoring systems. The design allows the incorporation of an integrated patient support structure, radiation shielding and associated devices and conduits for medical care in procedures that employ X-ray imaging.
Accessory Support And Coupling Systems For An Accessory Support
The present disclosure provides a coupling system for coupling a medical accessory to an accessory support is provided. The present disclosure also provides a system for powering a medical accessory with an accessory support.
Docking apparatus
A transportation apparatus configured to dock with a device to which power is supplied is provided. The transportation apparatus includes a first contact element for establishing a first contact with the device and a second contact element for establishing a second contact with the device. An apparatus for assisting in establishing the contact between the second contact element and the device is further provided in the transportation apparatus. The apparatus is operated by a motor. The apparatus is configured to provide power to the motor by supplying power via the first contact.
Secure equipment transfer system
A method of using a transfer system includes: supporting a first docking cone of the transfer system by a first support platform to orient a docking cone axis of the first docking cone with a vertical axis; inserting the first docking cone into a first docking cup of a transfer device of the transfer system; and locking the first docking cone within the first docking cup by a security mechanism of the transfer device, the security mechanism comprising a first security lever and a second security lever.
ROBOTIC ARM CART HAVING LOCKING SWIVEL JOINTS AND OTHER POSITION ADJUSTMENT FEATURES AND USES THEREFOR
Apparatuses and methods described herein relate to arm carts for transporting and securing a robotic arm to a surgical table. In some embodiments, an arm cart may include an arm support having two joints that can be manipulated to move an arm into a position in which a coupler of the arm is engageable with a coupling site of a surgical table. In some embodiments, an arm cart may include an arm support that is rotatable and translatable to permit movement of an attachment area for receiving and attaching a coupling site of a surgical table to a coupler attached to an arm. In some embodiments, an arm cart may include an arm support that releasably couples to a middle segment of the arm positioned at least two segments away from an end of the arm having a coupler for coupling to a coupling site of a surgical table.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF COMMUNICATING THROUGH VISUAL OVERLAY FOR SURGICAL MEDICAL SYSTEMS
A surgical system can include a master controller for controlling one or more surgical tools, The system can also include an input on the master controller configured to change the master controller from a first mode into a second mode. The first mode can be a teleoperation mode and the second mode can be a virtual marking mode. In the virtual marking mode, a user is capable of communicating a virtual marker to other staff.
OPERATING ROOM WIRELESS POWER TRANSFER
SA surgical room power system including at least one source of power wired to a power source for a surgical room, the at least one source of power being wired to the surgical room; at least one power receiver; and a surgical power consumer wired to the at least one power receiver, the surgical power consumer being configured to assist a surgeon during a surgical procedure on a patient. The at least one source of power wirelessly transfers power to the at least one power receiver for powering the surgical power consumer.
