COMPOSITE SHEET AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR A FOAMED DECORATIVE SHEET FREE OF PVC AND PLASTICIZERS
A composite sheet and a manufacturing process for producing a decorative sheet using the composite sheet are provided. The composite sheet has a base layer and a foamable layer bonded to the base layer. The foamable layer includes 100 parts by weight of a polyolefin material having an elastic modulus of <0.1 GPa, 0.1-10 parts by weight of a foaming agent, and 0-200 parts by weight of additives. The foamable layer has a thickness of 0.05 to 0.3 mm.

Method for producing recorded matter having three-dimensional image, device for producing recorded matter having three-dimensional image, and foam-promoting liquid
A recorded matter having a three-dimensional image is produced by a method comprising the steps of: applying, to a recording medium including a substrate and a foaming layer provided thereon, a foam-promoting liquid containing water and a foam-promoting component; and heating the foaming layer. The foaming layer contains a binder resin and a foaming particle which foams as heated, while the foam-promoting component lowers a foaming start temperature of the foaming particle. The foaming particle includes a shell layer containing a thermoplastic resin and a volatile material encapsulated in the shell layer. The binder resin contains a water-insoluble resin, while the foam-promoting component contains a compound having no hydroxyl group.
Gravity-driven chitosan-enhanced melamine sponge for stable ultrafast filtration
Devices and methods related to a chitosan-enhanced melamine sponge are provided. A method comprises grafting chitosan on the melamine sponge matrix via the chemical with two or more carboxyl groups; and crosslinking the chitosan with crosslinker under a heating procedure to make a more robust melamine sponge with a larger surface and smaller pores. The chitosan-enhanced melamine sponge is used to separate chemicals from water as a gravity flow-driven filter, and it can be compressed and backwashed for regeneration.
FLEXIBLE WALL COVERING WITH VIRUCIDAL COATING AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURE THEREOF
The present invention relates to a flexible wall covering with virucidal coating. preferably wallpaper, comprising: a substrate layer of carrier material, the substrate layer comprising and preferably being a nonwoven, and the substrate layer having a surface density of at least 50 g/m.sup.2 and at most 180 g/m.sup.2; a coating layer on the carrier material, the coating layer comprising a vinyl composition and preferably comprising polyvinyl chloride (PVC); and a top layer on the coating layer, the top layer being applied via a printing process; the top layer comprising a virucidal coating, wherein the virucidal coating comprises a mixture of a fluoropolymer, an isocyanate, and a methoxysilane. The invention also relates to a method and a flexible wall covering obtained according to the method.
