FACTORY ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR DYEING INDUSTRY
The present invention relates to a factory energy management system for the dyeing industry, which enables an energy management system (EMS) to be applied to dyeing industrial processes that over-consume energy, so as to reduce energy consumption by an optimized production management process. The present invention provides a factory energy management system (FEMS) for dyeing industry, in which an optimized production management system (POP) and an energy management system (EMS) are integrated into a single platform, and which enables real-time monitoring of energy usage in each of dyeing and finishing processes based on hardware, software and ICT-based monitoring and control technology, optimizes the use of energy in each process by analyzing aggregate date, and is configured to apply energy use factors and related data analysis and control processes in different manners depending on the characteristics of dyeing industrial processes.
In-line digital printing system for textile materials
Compositions for and methods of digitally printing an ink image onto a woven textile material are provided. A base application is applied to the surface of a woven textile material, especially one comprising synthetic resin fibers prior to application of an ink image layer. The base application comprises an acrylic latex material that is formulated to be printed on with a digital ink while still wet, thereby eliminating the need for an intermediate drying cycle in between base application deposit and printing of the ink image.
STABILIZATION OF SODIUM DITHIONITE BY MEANS OF VARIOUS ADDITIVES
The present invention relates to a method for reducing or preventing the decomposition of a composition Z comprising Z1 a salt of dithionous acid in an amount ranging from 50 to 100 wt % and optionally Z2 an additive selected from the group consisting of alkali metal carbonate, alkaline earth metal carbonate, alkali metal or alkaline earth metal tripolyphosphate (Na.sub.5P.sub.3O.sub.10), alkali metal or alkaline earth metal sulfite, disulfite or sulfate, dextrose and complexing agents in a combined amount ranging from 0.0001 to 40 wt %, which comprises contacting the components Z1 and optionally Z2 in the solid and/or dry or solvent-dissolved or -suspended state with at least one of the following compounds V in the solid and/or dry or solvent-dissolved or -suspended state, wherein the compounds V are selected from the group consisting of: (a) oxides of the alkali metals lithium, sodium, potassium, rubidium, cesium, or of magnesium, (b) sodium tetrahydroborate (NaBH.sub.4), (c) anhydrous copper(II) sulfate (Cu(SO.sub.4)), phosphorus pentoxide and (d) basic amino acids arginine, lysine, histidine, wherein the solvent for Z1, optionally Z2 and V is practically water-free.
POLYETHYLENE TEREPHTHALATE COLORING SYSTEMS AND RELATED METHODS
A method of manufacturing a plurality of colors of bulked continuous carpet filament from a single multi-screw extruder which, in various embodiments, comprises: (A) passing PET through an extruder that melts the PET and purifies the resulting PET polymer melt; (B) adding a liquid colorant to the polymer melt using a liquid metering system; (C) using one or more static mixers (e.g., up to forty static mixers) to substantially uniformly mix (e.g., homogeneously mix) the polymer melt and the liquid colorant; and (D) feed the uniformly mixed and colored polymer melt into a spinning machines that turns the polymer into filament for use in manufacturing carpet, rugs, and other products.
PROCESS FOR DYEING TEXTILES
This invention relates to a process and apparatus for dyeing of textiles, to an immobilized enzyme comprised in said apparatus required for carrying out the process, and to a method to produce enzymatically indigo and derivatives thereof.
Liquid application unit for linear medium, liquid application apparatus, dyeing embroidery system, control method, and storage medium
A liquid application unit includes a supply member, a liquid application device, and an application controller. The supply member includes a cylindrical or columnar winding core around which a linear medium is wound. The liquid application device applies liquid to the linear medium unwound and fed from the supply member. The application controller adjusts a liquid application length of the liquid applied by the liquid application unit to the linear medium in a feed direction of the linear medium. The application controller adjusts the liquid application length in the feed direction of the linear medium in accordance with a winding thickness of a remaining amount of the linear medium from an outer peripheral surface of the winding core.
Process and apparatus for dyeing textiles
This invention relates to a process and apparatus for dyeing of textiles, to an immobilized enzyme comprised in said apparatus required for carrying out the process, and to a method to produce enzymatically indigo and derivatives thereof.
METHOD FOR PROVIDING A SUBSTRATE ON ONE FACE WITH A TINT AND A FUNCTIONAL COLORATION
The present invention relates to a method for providing a substrate on one face with a tint and a functional coloration, comprising the following steps (a) to (d): (a) supplying a substrate to be provided on one face with a tint and a functional coloration, the substrate comprising a semifinished part manufactured from transparent plastic and having a first main face and a second main face which lies opposite the first main face and has a convex shape, (b) applying a tint to both main faces of the substrate supplied in step (a), (c) applying a functional coloration to the second main face of the substrate provided with a tint on both main faces in step (b), the functional coloration being brought about by at least one photochromic dye and the at least one photochromic dye being present in a photochromic coat material forming a polymeric coat on the substrate, and (d) post-processing the substrate provided with a functional coloration on the second main face in step (c), in such a way that the tint on the first main face is ablated, to give a substrate provided only on the second main face with a tint and a functional coloration.
Process for dyeing textiles and enzymes used therein
The present invention relates to a process wherein one or more dye precursors, e.g., indole, are provided to a textile and converted by one or more enzymes, e.g., an oxidizing enzyme, to provide the textile with a dye, e.g. indigo. At least the oxidizing enzyme is a hybrid enzyme including a binding domain that is suitable to bind the enzyme to the textile and/or increase the affinity of the enzyme for the textile, in particular, a cellulose binding domain (CBD).
