Methods and apparatus for pre-treating swabs prior to collection of specimens to reduce false positive detections immerse a swab in a liquid chemical pre-treating agent for a treatment period of time. Then the swab is removed and circulated in a rinse agent. The pre-treating agent may be an oxidizing agent, a reducing agent, a bleaching agent (e.g. sodium hypochlorite solution) or a fluorescence suppressing dye (such as Evans blue, Trypan blue, or black dye).

A cloth structure includes a bottom cloth layer, a biting layer combined with the bottom cloth layer, and a color layer combined with the biting layer. A tissue material polymer forms a substrate which is treated by a non-toxic fluorescent bleaching process to form the bottom cloth layer. A first fluorescent color paste has a first color pigment, and a second fluorescent color paste has a second color pigment. The first fluorescent color paste is coated on the bottom cloth layer to form the biting layer. The second fluorescent color paste is coated on the biting layer, to form the color layer. The surface of the bottom cloth layer is dried, and formaldehyde is removed from the surface of the bottom cloth layer, to form the cloth structure.

The present invention provides a method for treating a textile garment with a hydrophobic dye solution.

Method for coloration and treatment of substrates

The invention provides a method for the application of a treatment agent to a substrate, the method comprising the treatment of the pre-wetted substrate in an aqueous system comprising the solid particulate treatment agent in a closed container, the treatment being carried out at a ratio of liquor to substrate which does not exceed 2:1. Typically, the method is applied to the dyeing of textile fibres at liquor ratios of 1:1 and is carried out in the absence of additives conventionally included for the sole purpose of promoting dye uptake by controlling electrical interactions or otherwise enhancing interactions between the substrate and the treatment agent. The invention also provides a method for the removal of surplus treatment agents following application of said treatment agents to a substrate, said method comprising not more than three wash-off treatments of said substrate with water following said application. Said wash off process most particularly comprises a two-stage process comprising performing, in order, the steps of: a first wash-off of the treated substrate with water in a closed container at a ratio of water to substrate which does not exceed 5:1; and a second wash-off of the treated substrate with water in a closed container at a ratio of water to substrate which does not exceed 10:1.

Dyed Textile Products

A Dyed textile article including raw fiber, yarn, woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, non-woven fabrics pre-treated with natural components citrus limonum francais, sapindus mukorossi or acetic acid in the ratio of 1/20 (bleaching agent/weight of cloth); treated with treating component like tannic acid; dyed with the extracts of the herbs wherein the raw fiber, yarn, woven fabrics, knitted/non-woven textile articles is blended with the herbs and; wherein the herbal extract is commingled, stuffed between the raw fibers of the textile article or the yarn and; the said raw fiber/yarn is used for preparing textile articles wherein the said raw fiber is carefully and hygienically stuffed in between the layers of textile articles; wherein the said raw fiber/yarn is capable of providing health benefits along with feel and hue of the naturally dyed textile articles.

Stuffing or comingling the herbs to make the pads used for various purposes. The method is in use for quite long, but advancement of using the technique for making hair cleanser/conditioner/scrub/washing of clothes and dishes, is an inventive step.

Potential use of the herbs for various purposes as cleaning, washing has been observed to be increased 3-4 times than the conventional method of use for same purpose. For example, 30 grams of herb is used to give result of 90 to 120 grams. Using the herb in this manner is advancement over previous conventional methods in water conservation as well as herbs conservation.

This technology makes the use of 100% herbs naturally with simple procedure and directly without any chemical process or preservatives and enhances the efficiency, yet comfortably (without creating mess in the use area). The herb is used as pad with natural cover.
