A leuco composition comprises at least one reactive leuco compound, which reactive leuco compound comprises a leuco moiety and at least one reactive moiety covalently bound to the leuco moiety. A laundry care composition comprises a laundry care ingredient and a leuco composition. A method of treating a textile comprises the steps of (i) treating a textile with an aqueous solution containing a leuco composition, (ii) optionally, rinsing the textile, and (iii) drying the textile.

A fluid set can include an ink composition having a pH from pH 7 to pH 10 and a crosslinker composition having a basic pH from pH 8 to pH 10. A paperless transfer printing method includes the following steps: (a) printing, by a printing machine, aqueous ink onto a transfer printing temporary carrier in a set pattern, wherein a surface of the transfer printing temporary carrier is made of an elastic polymer material and a surface tension of the aqueous ink is less than the critical surface tension of the transfer printing temporary carrier; (b) drying the to-be-transferred pattern on the transfer printing temporary carrier; (c) wetting the transfer printing temporary carrier by using an aqueous surface tension increasing liquid; and (d) separating the aqueous solution or the aqueous dispersion liquid from the transfer printing temporary carrier at a tight-contact position between the transfer printing temporary carrier and the fabric, so that an aqueous ink dye is transferred onto the fiber of the fabric.

A leuco polymer includes a leuco monomer and an alkene. The leuco polymer has a molecular weight of at least 500 and is obtainable by polymerization of the leuco monomer and one or more alkene co-monomers. The leuco monomer consists of an alkene covalently bound to a leuco moiety and the leuco monomer has a molar extinction coefficient at a wavelength in the range 400 to 750 nm of less than 1000 M.sup.1cm.sup.1. The alkene monomer(s) have a molar extinction coefficient at a wavelength in the range 400 to 750 nm that is less than 100 M.sup.1cm.sup.1. A method of obtaining a leuco polymer, the method comprising the step of reacting a compound with a polymer to form the leuco polymer. The compound includes at least one leuco moiety and at least one electrophilic group. The polymer is comprised of co-monomers of an aryl dicarboxylate, an oxyalkyleneoxy and an oxypolyalkyleneoxy and the polymer comprises at least one moiety selected from the group consisting of hydroxy, sulfhydryl, primary amine and secondary amine. Laundry care compositions comprising the leuco polymer and methods of treating textiles with such laundry care compositions.
