Exciting and flashy images are created on a garment with a method that includes the steps of selecting a stretch fabric having a front side and a back side. A front side of the fabric is dyed with a solid color. A back side of the fabric is dyed with a knock out image. The knock out image is visible when the stretch fabric is stretched and is not visible when the stretch fabric is in a relaxed state. In one case, the fabric is part of jersey and when the player stretches the fabric an image becomes visible. In another case, the image expands or seems to glow. This provides a dynamic flashy image that is exciting to advertisers and fans alike.

INKJET COMPOSITIONS AND PROCESSES FOR STRETCHABLE SUBSTRATES

Novel inkjet ink compositions for forming an image in a form of an elastic film attached to a surface of a stretchable and/or flexible substrate and processes utilizing same for inkjet printing color images on various substrates such as colored and absorptive or impregnable stretchable materials, which are characterized by heightened efficiency in process time, ink and energy consumption, as well as products having durable, wash-fast and abrasion-fast images printed thereon by the process, are disclosed. The novel ink compositions comprise a first part, which contains a property-adjusting agent and a carrier, and a second part which contains an emulsified property-sensitive proto-elastomeric film-forming agent, a colorant and a carrier, such that the second part congeals upon contact with the property-adjusting agent. The second part is digitally applied to the substrate less than 1 second following the application of the first part to the substrate.

Method for Producing a Flame-Resistant Textile Article

Method for making a cellulose-comprising, flame-resistant, textile article comprising multiple flame-retardant treatments. The method comprises: a. providing at least part of the textile article with a non-cellulose-reactive, phosphorous-containing, flame-retardant compound, and b. providing at least part of the textile article with a cellulose-reactive, phosphorous-containing, flame-retardant compound. The method is suitable for producing flame-resistant, textile articles such as flame-resistant garments. Said garments can be used to protect individuals from flames and/or heat.

A blended fabric having a patterned color includes a first portion comprised of cotton and a second portion comprised of polyester. A dye that has a strong affinity for cotton and a slight affinity for polyester is applied to the fabric. The dye gives the cotton portion a deep black color and applies a light gray color to the polyester portion. A combination of deep black cotton and light gray polyester combines to provide the patterned color of the blended fabric. The blended fabric may be comprised of a larger percentage of cotton than polyester that is spun into a single filament yarn that is then knitted into a Jersey Knit styled fabric, a looped knit terry fabric, or a fleece fabric. Further, the present invention comprises a blended fabric whereby dye absorption by the cotton and not by the polyester create darker and lighter patterns within the blended fabric.
