Anti-ozone treatment of base templates in laser finishing

Indigo-dyed garments are treated with an anti-ozone agent to prevent ozone-related degradation of the garments before laser finishing. Without treatment, the garments can exhibit color loss (e.g., color change or fading) from exposure to ozone in the atmosphere. The indigo-dyed garments with anti-ozone treatment can serve as base templates in a laser finishing process flow. The anti-ozone treatment of the base templates can include a rinse including an ascorbic acid or vitamin C constituent during a base preparation process. Then quantities of these base templates can manufactured and stored for periods of time without exhibiting ozone-related degradation effects.

Leucoindigo salt solution with very low content of aniline and method of making same

Stable aqueous leucoindigo solution comprising an aromatic amine in the form of aniline or aniline and N-methylaniline, wherein said leucoindigo is in the form of an alkali metal salt; wherein the concentration of the aromatic amine is below 40 ppm determined according to ISO 14362-1:2017(E); and wherein the concentration of the leucoindigo salt is in a concentration range of from 10 to 45% by weight based on the total weight of the solution, and wherein the stability of the solution is measured at a temperature of 23° C.; or wherein the concentration of the leucoindigo salt is in a concentration range of from 45 to 65% by weight based on the total weight of the solution, and wherein the stability of the solution is measured at a temperature of 60° C.

A dyeing machine comprising at least one dyeing module in which a first squeezing device for a textile support, a first treatment tank, a central tank, a second treatment tank and a second squeezing device are located in sequence is described. The dyeing machine also includes a hydraulic system for feeding, circulating and alternately adjusting the levels of process fluids in the tanks. The tanks are preferably enclosed in a hermetically sealed upper covering shell. The two treatment tanks have the same shape, the same dimension and capacity characteristics, and are symmetrical with respect to a plane of symmetry lying in the central tank and arranged perpendicularly with respect to the direction of advance of the textile support. The dyeing machine is provided with means for moving the textile support, configured to advance the textile support alternately in both directions, i.e. either from the first squeezing device to the second squeezing device, sequentially through the tanks, or from the second squeezing device to the first squeezing device, again sequentially through the tanks.
