LAUNDRY DEBRIS REMOVAL DEVICE AND METHOD OF USING SAME
20210246604 · 2021-08-12 ·

A laundry debris removal device for use in a laundry air dryer that is made of a fabric base material and a tacky ink-based overlay substrate. The laundry debris removal device will be added to a load of laundry prior to drying and will tumble with the load. The device will gently abrade the exterior surface of the laundry, dislodging lint, hair, and other particulate laundry debris from the surface of the clothing. The laundry debris will then be released into the dryer's designed air flow and deposited into the dryer lint filter.

Ink emulsion composition and water-based ink

Disclosed is an ink emulsion composition that, when used as an ink composition, retains a high concentration of a colorant and exhibits good re-dispersibility after drying, and that causes no change in the physical properties of the ink when stored for a long period of time. The ink emulsion composition contains: (A) a dye and/or a pigment; (B) a styrene-(meth)acrylic copolymer; and (C) a compound in an amount of more than 0.18 mass %, the compound (C) being represented by formula (1): ##STR00001## where t represents 1 to 5.

Inkjet compositions and processes for stretchable substrates
11021627 · 2021-06-01 · ·

Novel inkjet ink compositions for forming an image in a form of an elastic film attached to a surface of a stretchable and/or flexible substrate and processes utilizing same for inkjet printing color images on various substrates such as colored and absorptive or impregnable stretchable materials, which are characterized by heightened efficiency in process time, ink and energy consumption, as well as products having durable, wash-fast and abrasion-fast images printed thereon by the process, are disclosed. The novel ink compositions comprise a first part, which contains a property-adjusting agent and a carrier, and a second part which contains an emulsified property-sensitive proto-elastomeric film-forming agent, a colorant and a carrier, such that the second part congeals upon contact with the property-adjusting agent. The second part is digitally applied to the substrate less than 1 second following the application of the first part to the substrate.

DECORATIVE FIBER SHEET
20210095404 · 2021-04-01 · ·

The invention concerns a decorative fiber sheet having a print on one main surface of a fiber sheet, which has small variation in color of the decorative fiber sheet and is excellent in appearance quality due to small variation in printing amount in the decorative fiber sheet. When it contains cellulose nanofibers in a print, it is possible to provide a decorative fiber sheet which has small variation in color of the print contained in the decorative fiber sheet and is excellent in appearance quality.

WATER-FREE FABRIC DYEING PROCESS AND DYE COMPOSITIONS
20210123186 · 2021-04-29 ·

A non-aqueous fabric dyeing method used a non-aqueous dyeing composition. The dyeing composition is a fluid at room temperature; contains no more than 5% water, no more than 5% VOCs and no more than 2.5% by weight vinyl monomers. The dye composition includes an organic dye that is solid at temperatures up to 130° C. and which sublimes or boils at 130 to 220° C., and further includes a carrier that is a liquid in the temperature range of 130 to 220° C.

FABRIC PRINTABLE MEDIUM
20210079591 · 2021-03-18 ·

A fabric printable medium comprising a fabric printable medium, with an image-side and a back-side, comprising a fabric base substrate; an image-receiving coating layer, applied on the image-side of printable medium, comprising a first and a second crosslinked polymeric network; a fire retarding barrier layer, applied to the back-side of the printable medium comprising polymeric binder and filler particles with flame retardancy properties; and, at least, a migration control finish layer comprising a film-formable polymer and a flame retardant agent, at a coat-weight ranging from about 0.5 to 10 gsm. Also disclosed are the method for making such fabric printable medium and the method for producing printed images using said material.

TEXTILE PRINTING WITH INKJET INKS

A printing method includes selecting an inkjet ink including a dye, and selecting an active agent, including an electro-magnetic radiation-absorbing active material, and an aqueous or non-aqueous vehicle. The method further includes inkjet printing the dye sublimation inkjet ink and the active agent directly onto a textile fabric. The textile fabric having the ink and active agent thereon is exposed to electromagnetic radiation.

Leuco dye pastel coloring kit

A leuco dye pastel marking device for use with a substrate treated with an activator of the leuco dye, such that drawing upon the substrate will reveal a color, but drawing on a normal surface will have no visible effect. A solvent such as dimethyl adipate is used to store the leuco dye in a longer-lived, more stable, solid form, and varying hardnesses and consistencies may be achieved by the addition of 12 hydroxystearic acid and ethyl cellulose. The substrate may be treated selectively with the activator such that a texture, image, or hidden message is revealed by the application of the leuco dye pastel to the substrate. One or more substrates and one or more leuco dye pastel marking devices may be presented to a child as a coloring book with pastels that only visibly mark the coloring book and no other surface.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING STANDARD CARBON BLACK SOILED FABRICS

The application relates to the production of a soiled fabric, and more particularly to a method of manufacturing a standard carbon black soiled fabric for performance testing of washing machines. Water is adopted herein as the solvent to prepare a soil, which renders this method safe, environmentally friendly and economical. Moreover, this method introduces a fully-automatic continuous rolling-suction tentering and setting machine to control the pressure of the padder, the drying temperature, the air volume of the fan and the speed of chains, which reduces the manual intervention, achieving a highly-automatic printing and dyeing process. The reflectivity at four points on both sides of the standard carbon black soiled fabric according to the invention is 95% or more.

CLEANSING SUBSTRATE WITH SYNCHRONIZED PRINTED AND EXPANDED TEXTURE

The current disclosure provides for a woven or nonwoven textured substrate that is stable in water based solutions. The textured substrate is generated by a controlled placement of ink on to portions of the surface and/or between layers of the textured substrate which is then followed by heat activation which expands the ink to puff out where the ink was applied to the textured substrate.
