TIE DYE WITH SODIUM CHLORIDE
A method of making a tie dye solution for a fabric includes adding a first predetermined weight of sodium chloride to a second predetermined weight of a dye, wherein the first predetermined weight of the sodium chloride is based on the color of the dye. The method further includes mixing the first predetermined weight of the sodium chloride and the second predetermined weight of the dye together to form a dry dye mixture, dispensing the mixed first predetermined weight of the sodium chloride and the second predetermined weight of the dye into a dye bottle, and adding water to the dye bottle having the mixed first predetermined weight of the sodium chloride and the second predetermined weight of the dye to form the tie dye solution.
Surface piece
A surface piece of crossing threads (12, 14) comprising plastic filaments, which as a woven fabric web (10) is equipped with two mutually opposing surfaces and with openings (16) formed therein. The fabric web comprises a metallisation applied on one side as a surface layer and between 15 and 80%, in particular between 20 and 70% of the fabric web is configured in the form of network intermediate spaces (16).

METHODS OF PRECONDITIONING FABRIC PRIOR TO INKJET PRINTING
Provided herein are processes and methods of preconditioning a fabric prior to the application of graphics using, for example, inkjet printing. The preconditioning may comprise one or more of the following: (1) applying a preconditioning formulation to all or a portion of the textile; (2) heating or drying the textile at an elevated temperature; and/or (3) exposing the textile to an inert gas or vacuum in order to remove excess unreacted dye material and/or making the dyes immobile or non-diffusive. Further the print will have less or no staining after printing and curing the fabric.

Sublimation over print
Aspects are directed to printing a garment and include a method having steps of providing a fabric panel containing polyester, applying an ink layer to a first area of the fabric panel, curing the ink layer, and applying a sublimation dye to the first area and a different second area of the fabric panel. Application of the sublimation dye causes the first area and the second area to have different color saturations. Other aspects include a garment with a fabric panel containing polyester that has a first surface with a first area and a different second area. The garment also includes an ink layer on the first surface and located at the first area and a sublimation dye absorbed by a portion of the fabric panel at the second area and on a surface of the ink layer at the first area.
