Apparel Design System with Digital Preview and Guided Asset Placement
A system allows a user to create new designs for apparel and preview these designs before manufacture. Software and lasers are used in finishing apparel to produce a desired wear pattern or other design. As the user designs apparel, the system provides feedback as to what designs can be used, such as avoiding technical constraints with their designs.
Method for Decolorizing Textiles
A method for decolorizing a dyed textile comprising a synthetic fiber and a disperse dye, the method includes contacting the dyed textile with a super critical fluid thereby extracting at least a portion of the disperse dye from the textile into the super critical fluid and forming an at least partially decolorized textile.
Methods for obtaining colored or chromic substrates
The present invention provides a post-fabrication modification approach for the fabrication of colored and chromic materials and sensors using plasma surface modification to covalently bind the coloring agent to the substrate, thus avoiding leaching of the dye. Advantageously, in said methods, said coloring agent is a dye or pigment linked to a radical sensitive functional group, such as an alkenyl or alkynyl functional group, and is applied to the substrate prior to the gas plasma treatment. The methods envisaged herein are generic in nature, which allow the covalent immobilization of various dyes on different materials. The covalently coated materials after plasma surface modification, particularly the covalently coated chromic materials and sensors, can be used in many different applications, such as protective textile and wound dressing applications.
Apparel design system with bounded area for asset placement
A system allows a user to create new designs for apparel and preview these designs before manufacture. Software and lasers are used in finishing apparel to produce a desired wear pattern or other design. As the user designs apparel, the system provides feedback as to what designs can be used, such as avoiding technical constraints with their designs.
Apparel customized by using base templates and laser finishing
Laser finishing of apparel products allows an operating model that reduces finishing cost, lowers carrying costs, increases productivity, shortens time to market, be more reactive to trends, reduce product constraints, reduces lost sales and dilution, and more. Improved aspects include design, development, planning, merchandising, selling, making, and delivering. The model uses fabric templates, each of which can be used to produce a multitude of laser finishes. Operational efficiency is improved.

Apparel Design System with Allocation Insights
A system allows a user to create new designs for apparel and preview these designs before manufacture. Software and lasers are used in finishing apparel to produce a desired wear pattern or other design. As the user designs the garment, the system provides the user insight in their design process.
Guided allocation in an apparel management system
A system allows a user to create new designs for apparel and preview these designs before manufacture. Software and lasers are used in finishing apparel to produce a desired wear pattern or other design. The system guides how the user is allocating apparel items in the system, including feedback on what the user may like to change.
LASER FINISHING METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING A FINISHING PATTERN ON A WORKPIECE
The present application relates to a method of providing a finishing pattern on a workpiece (2) by a laser apparatus (1) comprising at least one laser source (10), preferably a pulsed laser source, generating an output laser beam (11), moving means (12) for said laser beam and a control unit (101) for controlling said laser source (10) and said moving means (12). The method comprises the step of providing command instructions for operating said laser apparatus (1) for scribing a predetermined finishing pattern on a workpiece (2), and the step of operating said laser source (10) and said moving means (12) for generating said output laser beam (11) for scribing lines of the predetermined finishing pattern on said workpiece (2) according to said command instructions. The step of operating the laser source comprises at least one operating mode (C) wherein the energy per unit surface delivered by said laser beam (11) is variable, preferably within a single scan line, by changing the scanning speed (V) of the laser beam (11), and the output power (P) of the laser source and/or the duty cycle (DC) are maintained at a constant value.
