Exercise apparatus and system for stationary users
Exercise equipment, particularly a linear movable structure and associated selectable elastic resistance bands with or without guide track members are designed to allow low-impact exercises for one or two persons at the same time while permitting either or both participants to remain stationary when utilizing the equipment.
MONOCOQUE AMBULATION AID
Example ambulation aid apparatus and associated methods of manufacture are disclosed and described herein. An example ambulation aid apparatus includes an ambulation aid body formed as a integral part, the integral part formed in monocoque construction to provide support for mobility of a user through the integral part, the integral part providing a plurality of grippable areas to facilitate user movement and support through the integral part. Another example ambulation aid apparatus includes a primary panel formed in monocoque construction to provide support for and assist in mobility of a user through the skin of the monocoque primary panel, the primary panel formed to interrelate with one or more subassemblies to provide an integrated monocoque part to assist in providing support for and improved mobility of the user through the integrated monocoque part. Example methods of manufacture are also disclosed and described.
HOLDER FOR A WALKING FRAME
A holder configured for attachment to a mobility frame that has a crossbar at its upper part, the holder comprising an open-topped body, a tray at an upper part of the body, a plurality of pockets depending from the tray and opening into the tray, the configuration of the holder being such that, in use, at least some of the pockets engage opposite sides of the crossbar at the upper part of the mobility frame with the tray providing a support for plates.
Side carrier for standard walker with wheels
An ergonomically enhanced wheeled mobility walker with a laterally attached platform including a cup holder as well as a tabletop releasably attached to a leg of the walker and which can be transitioned from a vertical resting position anterior to the walker to a horizontal working position lateral to the walker preferably engaging or proximal to the platform.
Rollators with platforms for assisting a person to raise oneself
Rollators with platforms for assisting a person to raise oneself are disclosed. According to an aspect, a rollator includes a frame having a front-facing portion. The rollator also includes handles attached to the frame. Further, the rollator includes wheels attached to the frame. The rollator also includes platforms attached to the front-facing portion of the frame.
Walker Tray for Use with a Walker Apparatus
A walker tray is removably attachable to a walker for enabling a user to support items. In some embodiments, the walker tray is light-transmissive for enabling a user to see through the tray. The walker tray includes a tray-to-walker attachment mechanism, and in this regard, some embodiments either include a pair of laterally opposed handle-receiving apertures or resilient clip elements. In those embodiments having handle-receiving apertures for mounting the tray upon the walker, each aperture has an aperture and an aperture width. The aperture lengths and aperture widths are configured to receive at least upper handle portions of a walker. Each of the handle-receiving apertures are defined inwardly by an inner leg-engaging edge configured to engage at least a forward leg portion and a rearward leg portion. Together the forward and rearward leg portions and the inner leg-engaging edge are cooperable to support the walker tray upon the walker.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, DEVICES, AND APPARATUSES FOR PROVIDING ASSISTANCE TO USERS
The present disclosure provides an apparatus for providing assistance. Further, the apparatus may include a frame comprising two or more frame members interconnected to define a structure. Further, the apparatus may include a movement assembly configured for moving the apparatus for navigating the apparatus. Further, the apparatus may include a processor configured for determining one or more requirements of a user associated with the apparatus and generating one or more commands based on the one or more requirements. Further, the one or more commands includes one or more navigation commands and one or more operation commands for performing one or more tasks. Further, the moving of the apparatus may be based on the one or more navigation commands. Further, the apparatus may include a peripheral device configured for executing one or more operations for the performing of the one or more tasks based on the one or more operation commands.
Breakaway walker tray
The breakaway walker tray includes a body defining a relatively planar surface and a pair of tubular grips formed from a portion of the body and selectively engageable with a pair of supports at least partially defining a frame of a walker. Each of the pair of tubular grips may be respectively engageable with the pair of supports in substantial friction-fit engagement therewith substantially along an entire surface area thereof. Moreover, the pair of tubular grips may break away from the pair of supports when under a load of a user falling on the body. Additionally, the body may also be made from a material having a rigidity maintaining the structure of the relatively planar surface when the body is coupled to the walker, while also being crushable under the weight of a user of the walker.
