LOAD BEARING MEMBER FOR AN ELEVATOR SYSTEM HAVING AN ELASTOMER AND PHOSPHONATE BLENDED BONDING AGENT
A belt for an elevator system is provided having a core and an elastomeric sheath positioned over the core. An elastomer and phosphonate blended bonding agent adheres the core to the sheath.
ELEVATOR, SUSPENSION BODY FOR THE ELEVATOR, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR THE SUSPENSION BODY
A suspension body for an elevator includes a core having a belt-like shape, and a covering layer. The core includes a load bearing layer. The load bearing layer is formed of an impregnation resin and a plurality of high-strength fibers. The covering layer covers at least a part of an outer periphery of the core. The plurality of high-strength fibers include a plurality of kinds of high-strength fibers.

Method and hoisting device
The invention relates to a method for monitoring condition of a rope of a hoisting device, which rope comprises one or more load bearing members oriented to extend parallel with longitudinal direction of the rope throughout the length thereof. The method comprises measuring strains of one or more portions of a load bearing member of the rope; and comparing the measured strains of one or more portions of a load bearing member of the rope with at least one reference. The invention also relates to a hoisting device implementing the method.

BELT WITH CORRUGATED MATERIAL
An elevator system includes a hoistway, an elevator car movable along the hoistway, and one or more belts operably connected to the elevator car to propel the elevator car along the hoistway. A belt of the one or more belts includes one or more tension elements extending along a belt length, and a jacket at least partially encapsulating the one or more tension elements. The jacket includes a jacket base formed from a first material and one or more insert layers embedded in the jacket base material. The one or more insert layers have a corrugated shape along the belt length, and are formed from a second material different from the first material.
Wear detection of elevator belt
A belt includes one or more tension members extending along a length of the belt, a jacket at least partially enclosing the plurality of tension members, and one or more layers of one or more of a fluorescent, absorbing, or reflecting material located in the belt such that when subjected to a light source, an indication of fluorescence or absorbance or reflection of the one or more layers of fluorescent or absorbent or reflective materials is indicative of a wear condition of the belt.
RESTRAINING STRUCTURE FOR STRUCTURAL OBJECT
A restraining structure for a structural body includes: a restrained portion that is a tubular body or a stacked body; a pair of holding portions provided at the restrained portion; a first CFRP belt wrapped around the restrained portion in an axial direction of the restrained portion so as to extend between the pair of holding portions and having carbon fibers of a 0° direction along the axial direction; and a second CFRP belt stacked adjacent to an outermost layer near an end of the first CFRP belt and having carbon fibers of 45° to 90° directions with respect to the axial direction. One of the holding portions is provided at an end of the restrained portion. The other of the holding portions is provided at the other end of the restrained portion.
